This entire engine is baked from scratch, so in theory it should be totally compatible with any other mod (even REPENTOGON)

The next feature I'm planning on adding to the demo is photosensitivity mode with simpler wall graphics, and that will have far less flashing artifacts.
Technically true, but by the time this project is finished, it’ll have features that are much more technically advanced than Wolf 3D (like a minimap, the BFG, and an attempt at verticality/walls/ceilings), so calling it DOOM is reasonable since the final result will be a bit closer to that 🤓
