how long before we finally get rimworld adventure mode

So is "arcade" mode required if i want to retain the "run and gun" effect? I ask as its mentioned it works with that mod, but i've noticed even with it enabled for the pawn they have to plant themselves to fire.

Does the mod account for pawn's shooting skill? Or do bullets always go where the crosshair points at?

do you think you could allow two players to control different pawns this way? like one person uses WASD, & the second player controls another pawn using the arrow keys or UHJK or some other combination.
This coupled with "Guards For Me" makes for a great companion system, also if you have idiology and have the "companions" have different varied idios like the affinity system in fallout, it makes it alot better

Entering a vehicle with a WASD pawn forces WASD on every other pawn you control until the previous pawn leaves that vehicle. Minor Incompatibility with Vehicle Expanded.

please make it where the tile updating or wtv where the next tile they're on is the one they're on idk how to explain it but its like if you were to play roblox and the game does have its own hitbox so it uses the vanilla roblox hitbox (which lags behind the actual avatar) thats what its like for this mod and its really annoying

every time you get out of wasded your cooldown and charge for weapons just disappears. This means if you spam it you can make a machine gun out of a sniper rifle or something or make your colonist spam melee attack

Is there a possibility of allowing me to do tasks like other villagers? Like carrying objects, breaking down trees, and also crafting items? That would be amazing. I could set up a village, and while I wait for the villagers to work on things, I could take over one of them and do the work. Or maybe join the multiplayer mod with my wife, and each play with a doll, in a two-player survival game.

with Yayo Combat (which adds ammo) you can shoot indefinitely without reload. would be lovely to have a compatibility, please 🙏

This looks really cool. I really want to use it, but it looks unbalanced. I wish there were an option to keep the inaccuracy of the pawns and guns. Pawns with poor shooting skills and guns with bad accuracy shouldn't be incredibly good at aiming when we are controlling them.

I love this mod, it's really fun and makes a solo game really fun. I noticed, however, that diagonal movement is way faster than orthogonal, which is a big bummer

Are you meant to be able to control drafted mechanoids with this mod?

Asking because i just controlled a diabolous and it was laggy, shooting without me pressing anything, and if i zoomed in a strange graphical glitch popped up.

Perhaps you should improve the aiming system. The thing is that aiming at an enemy pawn when it moves hits an interesting situation when you as a player simply cannot hit the enemy because you are not actually aiming at him due to the way the aiming point interacts with the game world. It would be nice to make the guaranteed hit zone more than one point/square that the aiming point is pointing at. So that it is a circle of the AoE principle

i love this mod, if it has the option to make the daylie things of pawns , mine, eat etc
you can start play Rimworld as an "life simulator" combined with a multiplayer mod it will be one of the collest combos

3-4 peeps living as pawns in rimworld hahaha <3

playing with «RimDialogues», added a note to a base prompt: «Sometimes in these dialogues they realize someone made pawns of them in a PC game.»

result, after playing for a while with WASD and undrafting:

«Lightrunner: "WASDed disabled? You mean... we’re not puppets anymore?"
Jet: "Always were, kid. Just... less obvious now. Still gotta eat, build, survive. Same difference."

I have an idea for special UI. The concept is that when you click WASD UI changes to battle mode (decluttering the screen, hiding distracting elements like bottom bar, left construction menu, minifying upper colinist bar) , showing only the core combat things like abilities, hideable health menu in the corner and such stuff. It would look like you are entering top-down shooter when WASD is active

I've also noticed that gun fires faster when i hold LMB than it is when pawn shoots in vanilla way.

yeah, I checked settings, but they all change pawn's speed in not that obvious way. I can't figure out how to make movement speed equal and unchanged over vanilla

as for camera - noted, I guess something like that will be implemented in the next version!

So it is 100% accuracy if you don’t miss as a player? So any zero-skilled pawn becomes a god under player’s control?
Is there a possibility for shots still miss sometimes based on vanilla pawn’s accuracy?
