Small, tiny request for whenever you get back on your feet to have the weapons be in a separate mod, I really like the weapons, especially the Megumin reference, but I don't really want the display part, if not perfectly fine, it's your decision!

I am not involved in the [WIP] WeaponOut Port you are referring to, but you should be able to toggle which mod you want to use the item drawing from. The only mods I'm currently aware of where that's not possible are ArmamentDisplay and CoolerItemVisualEffect

Maybe it might happen one day. At the moment a very kind soul is helping me port my expeditions mod, but I am between jobs right now, looking for work - once that's settled down I should be able to find time to pick back up on modding :steamhappy:

When using MOD weapons, i can also use any posture i want
(because currently customizing actions for MOD weapons only retains normal actions, no attack actions)

My friends reinstalled it and it worked its some issue with the older versions or smthn. I'm guessing it just didn't update for them.

I cannot replicate that issue on my end, but that is also because I cannot test running two clients on different versions of the same mod - My advice is to update the mod to latest. I will push out a hotfix to hide the item display for this scenario.

I also get that visual bug where my friends held item is floating around my cursor, just a heads up.

@ItsSilk also happened with one of my friends. tell them to update it if its version is below 2.0.0, and if they can't, to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod

I just found out from my friends that WeaponsOutLite gets disabled when they join my world and that causes the desync because they don't have the mod i'm guessing.

i also have this issue, i think it has to do with people who aren't using this.

so i guess to replicate the issue, have someone who isn't using WeaponOut Lite hold something. maybe a pickaxe, maybe a weapon. then move your cursor around with that person onscreen.

at least, that's what i've gathered.

I can try to record a clip then send it somewhere, all I know is that when I disable WeaponsOutLite it disappears off my screen.

@ItsSilk do you know which item? If you can replicate it then I may be able to figure out why. The item following your cursor is debug behaviour that shouldn't occur normally..

I'm experiencing a issue where my friends item isn't being held by then and just floats around, and moves around with my cursor.I wanted to ask if this is a issue with WeaponsOutLite or some incompatibility. I will send my modslist if needed!

Apologies for saying this was going to come out sooner, a lot of things came up suddenly over this last month that have basically occupied any semblance of free time I had. But for now I am free once again :lunar2019piginablanket:

I will update the compat list later, but the renderer should behave a bit more nicely with more mods now. Thank you everyone for your support, bug reports, and kind words!

Version 2.0.0 released :steamhappy:

• changed mod to NoSync. This means you can have it clientside, but it if the clients and server have it installed it will sync up in mutliplayer.
• added new item group - tools
• additional rapier hold animation finished
• weapons sheathed on the back have been flipped
• adjustments to various pose animation positions
• fix some items breaking rendering in the menu
• compatibility for various mod item poses
• compatibility for modded arrows with non-standard sprites
• compatibility with modded items with custom arm animations
