On the off chance steam doesn't immediately remove the link, here you go: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/23-year-old-mountain-house-pouch-dale-kunkel

Definitely not where I was expecting to find actual information when I googled 90's Mountain House packaging, but here we are.

Don't know if you have any interest in making period accurate packaging (These don't really stand out next to the weirdly modern vanilla ketchup bottles anyway), but I did manage to track down actual 1993 Mountain House Packaging if you've got any interest in it, from a post on linkedin of all things. Steam will probably eat the link if I try to send it, but its titled "23 Year Old Mountain House Pouch" and has a picture clearly showing the date code.

Honestly I was just curious since I didn't even realize Mountain House meals were that old until I ran into this mod.

Will this conflict with MRE XIII (1993) MOD?

Having same issue where dehydrated consumable isn't removed when hydrated consumable enters inventory upon crafting completion. I know some other mods had the same problem, such as Sapph's Cooking, which have since been fixed.
Whatever is causing it needs to be fixed by the mod author, and if it's like the other mods, the bug will persist with all currently spawned bugged items, but items newly spawned in unexplored cells will spawn the fixed item.

So I have the same issue that Foxxe has, only I did notice that rehydrating says "1 use" only it doesn't appear to have a condition bar to count down, the hunger for the non-hydrated version does decrease by 1, so presumably it isn't infinite but it looks to be like 16 meals for .2 weight
Foxxe Apr 5 @ 5:23pm
The meals don't get removed when you re-hydrate them. So 1 meal is essentially infinite food.

I found a bucket of meals, had it in my inventory when I logged out. Logged back in now, and the bucket is gone, it disappeared from my inventory. It's solo play and nothing were changed since loggin out and in again. Is this a glitch maybe ?

I can't wait til chicken fettuccine alfredo, my beloved, is added.

@ELTR101 I'm having the same issue. A helpful workaround I've been using are the mods: Change sandbox options, and Debug Menu. both allow you to manipulate the settings in game without using -debug. You can teleport, god mode, spawn objects etc.
havocc Mar 30 @ 4:26pm
would also like to know that aswell

Great mod along with the water mod. Question, how did you get debug mode to work for b42? Whenever I try, it just crashes when I start it up. Thanks :D

Great idea! Looking forward to the next update.

@sheeps

Generic for right now, but as we speak im working on filling out the 10 meals provided. All with varying stats depending on the item. Stay tuned :steamthumbsup:

Are they generic meals or can I find my Pasta Primavera?
