南希南无三 its not really popular enough for language or country specific servers, but i guess you can just leave messages in your preferred language and maybe other people from your country will join and you will have your own small space.

it may also be fun to translate them if you are a foreigner so i think of it as a win for all parties

but its just my opinion im not a dev

I kind of wished we could be able to reply to echoes and receive notifications in the tab menu cause I really wanna talk to people better

Echoes beyond verification website is not loading? I don't think there could be traffic on there but idk

i would have loved to write some echoes but all the authentication is giving me is a blank screen with a 403 error code not letting me even try to authenticate

I wish there was an option to teleport to any echo because some maps im 51/59 echoes and 8 are just hidden forever

Damn! If the data folder is still recognising all your echoes as yours, and the sign-in feature is still not recognising you, then im not sure where the issue would come from!

The only advice I could give is that my familiarity with the issue came from switching computers and moving over the data folders of the mod for my echoes to appear as mine again.
I'm no expert but if the text document showing your written echoes is displaying correctly, (showing really any echo text you've written) I don't know what the issue could be; but if its not showing correctly my only experience in both fixing that, and encountering that, was me replacing the files with a backup I saved.

yeah i've tried rejoining several times and it just doesn't fix itself, idk what i'd need to change in the data folder to make it work though

Try quitting and rejoining, the issue could be with how the sign-in works. I've had it a couple times, where it would sign me out; or after signing in it takes a rejoin for it to fully show my echoes as mine. If that doesn't work, I recommend checking out the data folder of the echoes mod.

Anyway, those are just my experiences, so don't know it would work well for you. Hopefully someone with more know how will help ye.

for whatever reason all of my echoes are shown as no longer belonging to me? like they're all still there, i just don't see them as yellow and they don't show up in the 'my echoes' list

this would probably be impossible to add but, there should be a dark souls-like thing where when a new echo is created, one of your installed playermodels mimics the movement of the person who made said echo, for like, the next 30 seconds before fading away or smth

or at least some kind of indicator of player presence (a ball of light? something)

for the love of god add a convar to enable playermodels

was able to fix the auth issue - can't use a VPN, but i have one that all internet traffic in my home goes thru, so had to connect to my phone's hotspot and use mobile data

The rendering process itself for the gamemode is fairly optimized. If you're facing performance issues, I'd try these things in order:

- Disable all other addons. A different addon may be causing the performance issues.
- Play on a map with less Echoes. If you're playing on gm_construct or another popular map, it's bound to have thousands of Echoes rendering at once.
- Close other CPU intensive programs on your computer. If you're running multiple games at once, it'll likely cause issues.
- If all else fails, it might just be a hardware issue, and you need to upgrade your PC. I wouldn't do that just for a Gmod gamemode, though.

Im having a perfomence issues with this gamemode, any way to fix it?

im not able to authenticate? i get stuck in an infinite cloudflare loop when trying to authenticate on the steam client, i just get blocked when going to the website on my main browser

On further investigation if loads with PAC just fine, and for some reason V started working to noclip me when I swear it didn't before. So I guess my comment is just entirely wrong, haha. Still, wouldn't mind a visible player command.

Dunno about noclip but i can use it as always. Never had problems with it, maybe it's something with server settings or other addons

Beautiful experience, but I'd definitely enjoy having at least command toggles to enable player models and noclip. I think the former might be causing an incompatiblity with PAC3 because it didn't work until I disabled it, and for the latter there's a lot of out-of-bounds echoes from other people that you'd need to noclip to to complete a map. Maybe you can unlock it by getting a certain percentage of echoes in each map?
