clusters of trees are tricky and creators rarely make them. tbh I don't think this tree is a good candidate for a cluster as it's more of a special tree found in very particular places. Clusters are more for forests or low-poly background fillers. To improve the LOD, you can check out the Skylines Nature discord and learn the tricks -- it's about adding an "outer glow" to the main model alpha map, so that when the game generates the LOD, it's a bit fuller and not so transparent. You shouldn't even notice the difference in the main model

Wow love it! Could I suggest you to include a cluster version of them ? (You got the files should be easy to combine them in a cluster in blender, maybe with the trunck going under terrain level to support a bit of slope) would be great for performance when placing lot of them
