maybe a mod conflict but no problem since i had a backup

@Legs_breakers there isn't any code in the mod that would touch your XP, so it is likely something else that caused it. Let me know if it happens again though!

when i added the mod it resetted my character s strengh to level 0 . not a gamebreaking bug but still anoying

I got high and played blade and sorcery and you swing your arms around and I use weighted controllers so this mod is realistic.

Is it only arms to not effect walking/running? they should numb the whole body, dose not make sense they only works on the arms.

i really like the pain ointment idea.. that's a good one..
ManaWei Feb 21 @ 11:00pm
technically painkillers would numb the strain in the entire body.. just saying.. could come with a drawback ?
YARIK Feb 18 @ 12:56pm
Great mod! It would be awesome if you could add the effect for other body parts as well. Thanks!

@Phade Nah this mechanic just punishes you for playing the damn game, its just annoying. Same with discomfort, it is technically realistic, but not fun to manage whatsoever.

Awesome mod!
It would be cool if the painkillers also reduced the strenght xp gain for a while after using it. Like real life.

I think the main problem is that players don't care what the devs vision for this game is (to be a realistic zombie apocalypse game) and only want things added that doesn't make the game more difficult for them.

have the developers never performed any physical activity?

Finally :) If I may suggest, more effective and accurate could be oitment for muscle and joint pain pasta, which should also work for faster healing muscle strains. - just useful common boomer stuff :D

Maybe if devs were prioritizing this being a game before being a farm house simulator this discussion and this mod wouldnt even be a thing, cause guess what, thi is yet another system cooked up to punish the player who engages in combat, again

Yeah, was just explaining for anyone who doesn't understand why they don't do it without a mod lol. TIS should totally add I dunno..."Heating Lotion" or something to the base game that heals muscle strain. More medical items are always good lol.

Nothing removes muscle strain except rest. But for the sake of actually playing the game and living the sole survivor zombie slayer fantasy, the option to bypass this mechanic is provided.

If you can provide me an icyhot item I'm all for it though lol.

Since some folks don't get why Painkillers don't remove Muscle Strain in the vanilla game:

Painkillers block Pain buildup from injuries. Minor Muscle Strain and Muscle Strain are injuries you get from exertion, and Pain is a -symptom- of those injuries. Pain messes with your other stats including movement and attack speed.

If you have Muscle Strain you'll steadily build up Pain if you keep exerting yourself. If you take Painkillers you won't get the Pain build-up, which will let you mostly ignore the effects of Muscle Strain for a while.

Painkillers don't remove Muscle Strain outright because that's not what Painkillers do lol. Honestly what the devs should do is have Icy Hot or something in the game to let you relieve muscle strain.

When i realized you couldnt do this i've set it to 0, thankfully modders fix the game as always

This is just like... one of those moments when i realize im dumb. Why is it not a vanilla thing? why until i saw it that i thought MAKES SENSE?
