I am holding off until 4.0 is more settled and stable - we are currently getting 3 patches a week.
Think i can wait into the mid game, before the endgame?
Not taking the perk is basically playing with fire, the core is a single issue character, if you are not doing what it wants, it will get unhappy.
Further as has been commented, building sufficient crisis points in the late game is actually quite hard. Unlike nemesis you get no points for vassals, the core cares only for killing.
i was just starting a new game and there it was bordering my starting System
when do you loss access to it, i would like to build up a lot before getting the DE civic and the entire galaxy wanting to end me.
I tried a new game and paid close attention to the perk, which allowed me to complete it successfully. This time, everything worked as expected, and I ensured peace in the Galaxy. In the end, there were no objections.
Likely reason for unhappiness wad reaching the end game and not taking the ap
Do you know why I wasn’t able to select the perk initially, even when I was at peace with the core? I checked my save files, and as mentioned, two years before the rebellion, the option was unavailable. The same issue appeared in a save from 100 years before the rebellion. Only in a save from 150 years ago was the perk selectable.
You can no longer take it, behind the scenes a collection of thing have changed that cannot be unset, if you forced things with the console now it would just break.
You are basically now in a war, any console commands you would normally use to win a war will work. There is no way back though, if the rebellion was large enough then when you win, if you do so conventionally, you will get a rellic as a reward, no guarantee the relic giving will fire if you win via console commands.
I've been using the mod alongside ACoT and have reached the late game. I wanted to start the Contingency Ascension, but it is no longer available. It was an option 150 years ago, and I haven't chosen any new ascension paths since then. The "Become the Crisis" perk has also disappeared.
Normally, this wouldn't be a major issue, but due to an unfortunate coincidence, the Contingency Core has gone rogue and is taking over my systems. I'm looking for a solution.
Is there a way to:
a) Use a console command to grant the perk? (This would be my preferred option.)
b) Remove the Core?
Best
There is an emergency catch at the end of the situation that makes sure everyone has been synthed
It will still get unhappy with you in the late game if you haven't committed to the contingency even f you are a machine. It is a single issue genocidal AI.
It is also guatenteed to declare war if you take other crisis perks.
Even without those, it is pretty likely to get unhappy with you for not taking the crisis by the endgame and decide to declare war anyway, but that is a probability to do it's technically possibile to get quite far into the end game before it breaks
When you press begin the system should spawn close to your capital - you can watch it happening, and 2 days later you get a situation log event telling you to go there.
The only reasons it will not spawn for the player:
You are an AI
You lack one of the 2 required DLC
You are a hive mind empire.
It has already spawned for another human player.
Best put after, but best is a loose term here. Contingency core in the mod jam broke after machine age, so in theory if you used the core from this mod but also other leaders from the mod jam you will be OK, but I am not certain as I use the same file prefix for both so some files will directly overwrite while both versions will survive for other files where I renamed and updated things.
So you are under the hood still a standard player empire, because changing that break far too much of the game, so if you crisis mod has some sort of "stop regular wars because the scourge has arrived" it will do that. (and my level 5 war is a standard war created by putting you on one side and everyone else on the other)
It especially sounds like one of our mods is screwing something over, because the vanilla crisis are special empire types that are always hostile to everyone even without a war, it is baked into their low level code, so they cannot be set as neutral.
Currently crisis level 5 and waged war at everyone (had to this manually) and wanted more chaos so used crisis mod manager to start scourge crisis. When the main scourge fleet arrives, i am suddenly neutral with everyone, even with the scourge too.
thank you!
[JP_EN]Additional Crisis's Super Weapon is now compatible with this mod.
When your total galactic sterilization score reaches 75,000 or more, you will be able to build a playable version of the Combyler-class.
Could you add a link to the mod?
Thanks for creating a great mod.
The translation mod is now available to the public.
