Any luck with Ki5 vehicles? Or anyone know how to uninstall it from multiplayer server? Already try to deactivate the mod but animation still stuck on the game, thanks

@Jhon456 Doesn't work with Ki5 vehicles unfortunately. Tested it and still got stuck in animations

@Zvezda Chet? thats an issue with fancy handwork, if you have the vanilla animated vehicles mod, enable the apocalyptic slow doors patch and it will fix it.

I have issues getting into Ki5's cars with this mod. Survivor gets stuck standing in any seat and takes maybe 30-40 sec to get in car

i will check into how feasible a port to 42 is,
they have changed so much. some things may not work,



IF & When, i do port this mod.
each animation will be Fully Standalone.
So as to not repeat any compatibility issues of the past

@Zee - I use them exclusively. I can't use vanilla rides anymore, I've been spoiled by mods I suppose.

@Salvo - Interesting. I can use the little KI5 quad bikes (no doors) without issue. I think you may be onto something.

I'll keep my eye on the mod because its worth it for the basic idle stance alone and I just like the quality of the stuff Ethereal is giving us. Anyway, you know what these communities are like...if something can be fixed, patched or jiggled about with, it is only a matter of time!

I wonder if it could be the animsets of damn lib conflicting with the animsets of LVX somehow. Damn lib has it's own vehicle enter that calls for BobIdle which lvx seems to also edit

one thing to note about military environment AND KI5 is both have code for ANIMATED vehicles... I wonder if that is the part that's conflicting, it's the ONLY similarity I can think of and vehicles like the MUTT when it has no doors were not causing the delay, did not check when it has the animated doors on but if others are experiencing it with KI5's vehicles it must be that.

My theory is that any animated vehicle will not mesh well, and that isn't a fault on either mod just a limitation at the moment.

Worth noting about the KI5 vehicle issue - You do eventually enter the vehicle, it just takes about a whole minute to do so.

And that being said, that does NOT mean this mod is in a broken state. KI5 vehicles, and this mod are two separate mods, by separate mod developers.

Honestly, this is a refreshing set of animations to play around with. Don't get me wrong, I do think it's worth looking into what's causing the KI5 entry delay that BDZ1972 is referring to, but it ain't worth crossing this mod off for (unless you use KI5, I suppose). Regular vehicles don't encounter this issue.

Same issues as everybody else unfortunately...no entry to KI5 vehicles.

Not using the "military enviroment" mod that others talk of and I have tried with just the standard "tactical" mod and no extras.

I will shelve it for now, but I know that you don't just leave your mods in a broken state, so I will check back and try again in a few days and see how we are getting on...still enjoying AVA and noticing some clothing fixes being added recently. We know you care about these creations. :steamthumbsup:

I've had an issue where even with no mods, only LVX and its dependency, the animations are no different, except for pistol ones. It also has worked on my heavily modded save file, but only for pistols, and only for the aiming animations. Nothing else I activate, doesn't matter the load order, changes any other animation.

Only the Sledge hammer animations are bugged, and is causing vehicle entry looping animations

takes 10mins in game for the player character to mount any vehicle

that is because the animhook for that weapon / Mod isnt existing, Most gunmods fail at learning how to do that

i can likely fix that myself soon.

I tried it with britas and I like the mod, but I think the holding the rifle/long weapon animation is a bit awkward. There is a quick flick of the default shooting animation and then back to the awkward rifle angle animation when I press shoot, making it seem like the character is flicking and shooting the rifle at an angle at the same time. I like the rifle idle, would it be possible to make it the default walking animation with rifle/long weapon equipped?

About the bug that doesn't let you use vehicles, i fixed it by disabling only the sledgehammer animation

Kinda strange, i have a lot of mods so could be a incompatibility, but this may work for someone

It's not a singular mod issue , as i can tell uninstalling everything and having even ONE ki5 car installed stops me from getting inside.

Tested the libraries and have no issue, tested Tsar's bikes and have no issues and vanilla cars have no issues. not sure what the actual problem IS or could be as this is my first time doing testing for zomboid

Suprisingly, the solution is not on my end to invent this time, apart from the Fbx anims, the xml's used are all 1 to 1 vanilla,
Genuinely even before LVX existed i have ran into those timedaction failures, whatever those specific mods are doing, is stopping the chain of action, the animation system needs to complete itself,

if anyone does locate an exact mod trigger. Lmk.

Hey Shigure, I put together a mod list and were excited to play the mod, but when we tried it with the modpack, we came into this issue when we tried to enter the KI5 cars in the playlist. My buddy found that you end up in a timedaction error and in a forever loop when your character tries to get in any of the modded vehicles.Oddly enough, it’s only the actual KI5 cars that have the issue. We even went as far as to remove all mods, with the exception of yours and the modded cars, and still the problem persisted. Sorry if we’re beating a dead horse, but we’d appreciate some form of solution. The animations are superb and really add to the game, and we’d like to enjoy your mod to its fullest. Thank you for your time and consideration, hope to hear from you soon!

I've realized I had multiple conflicts, don't have the time to sort through the 400 mods on our server (perks of running a stupidly large modlist I guess)

maybe try testing sections of your mod list at a time, write down which ones you remove until it works, once it works go through that last group in smaller sections until you narrow it down to one mod, that's what I did for MEA, I also do the same when modding fallout

somehow got it working but entering vehicles bugs the animation making it last forever as one person below me said. Also removing the military environment addon didnt help.

Is a certain level of aiming skill required for the animations to appear, or a specific profession? Is there something to edit in the sandbox? I've placed the mod at the top of the load order and tried using it in 4 different runs, but I still don't see any animations. Do I need a weapons mod, or does it work with vanilla?
