I believe the activation of Job Stones alters the base appearance of the sprite or something, so placing rendered items that aren't the default size caused it to wig out? I don't really code so I wouldn't know but, just a thought ^^;;
I can only guess that the other mod hasn't accounted for non-default sprite sizes, which is fair enough in a way considering Terraria is basically hard-coded for the player's default sizes in a few different places.
To see what it looks like:

It seems that the breath + most head accessories (for big dragon) don't fit to the actual head, but instead hover below it, and only fit when crouching
Oddly enough accessories for L'il dragon seem to work and are positioned properly
I can add a client config option into the L'il Dragon mod where most of the custom set bonus functionality is handled, so you can manually toggle those set effects on or off. You can probably expect that update to come out in the next 30 minutes in v4.6.1
The horn hiding thing is a different beast altogether and I'll probably leave that as it is for now :)
Though, is there a chance that you could add some sort of item that disables like, the vanilla set bonus effect? I think the hallowed armour set looks unbelievably pretty, but I'm not a fan of the pulsing and afterimages it leaves behind so it forces me to not use a helmet
It would also be nice if some helmets hid your horns completely since they have the horns poking out a little depending on which horns you picked
Still, this mod is amazing and I love it, thank you for making it a thing!
First, if you haven't already, you need to craft and use a Breath Gem.
Make the Dragon Breath Bench with 10 obsidian, then you'll need 3 of either Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz or Emerald gems to craft a Breath Gem for either Fire, Ice, Electricity, or Life breath respectively.
Second, you need to bind the key in your Controls (from the main menu, Settings > Controls > Keybindings). It's under the MrPlague's Authentic Races category, and it's the Primary Racial Ability. Hope that helps!
It's an honour to implement such awesome additions~
Regarding different statue states... not really. I've had the question before, and the main problem is that I have to manually draw each and every variation again as statue sprites aren't layered like the normal player's sprites are. Even if they were, it'd still be a big effort. It makes sense why the vanilla game doesn't bother with making the petrified sprite adjust to the player's customisation options.
For context, it would take 1326 new sprites just to support the B'ig Dragon statues alone, including all horn variants for all statue material types. (the math is 51 hair styles * 13 statue materials * 2 variants, non-winged/winged = 1326 new statue sprites).
Making new poses would be less extreme, but still a fair amount of effort. So yeah, long story short proooobably won't be doing that unless I get a sudden desire to do so.
Are there any plans for tweaking the petrified state? I think it would be nice if the stone dragon had the same horns as the player. And maybe a vanity option for different poses like lying down or wings outstretched. I understand you're busy, I just thought I'd throw that out there!
Oh, and the null breath gem uses 1 Obsidian, made at the dragon breath bench~
Just a sidenote that there are still some incompatibilities when running Metroid Mod, this mod, and Creative Tools together, but running just this mod and the Metroid Mod should now work OK.
I'll... take a look into it.
Regarding fire breath, there is more information about it on the L’il Dragon workshop page, but here’s a quick summary:
- Make the Dragon Breath Bench using some obsidian. This acts as the crafting station for breath-related things.
- Make an elemental Breath Gem using either rubies, sapphires, emeralds or topaz (fire, ice, life and electric breath types respectively)
- Use the breath gem, then hold the primary racial key (Z by default) to use your breath attack!
I'm able to reproduce the issue and am working on a fix for it now~
If you can figure out which mod is conflicting and I'm able to replicate the issue on my end, I might be able to fix the problem, but otherwise I can't do a lot.
And @ERROR2401, that sounds like it could be interesting, but I'm not likely to more dragon variants specifically, unless I have a random spur of inspiration fill me with motivation for such a thing XD
Regarding vanities and armour, the answer is: when/if myself and/or other contributors get motivated to do so.
Making vanities for the big dragons (or any of my races, really) is a big effort! I am also personally taking a bit of a break from modding to enjoy using my own mods + playing other games, asides from fixing a few bugs or making small tweaks when I get the drive to do so.
Regardless, thank you for the response ! I hope you can find and squish the bug ! If my friend and I find the sanity to test it again (given that you haven't found out what happened), we'll let you know!
I wasn’t able to replicate the crash unfortunately. It could possibly be a mod conflict, but if it is I’m not sure which mod is causing it.
This *may* be related to a change I made recently where mounting another player attempts to trick the game into thinking you're actually riding a mount, so certain items which provide effects only while mounted will work.
If you're able to replicate the bug consistently, I'd like to know. I'd also be keen to know if the bug stops happening when you remove a particular mod, but I understand that would be a tedious process.
In the meanwhile, I can add some defensive measures to try and stop what I believe is causing the crash, but no guarantees.

Whatever happened, it seems to work fine with humans. We didn't test it much afterwards. We've since deleted the world and made a whole new one and disabled the extra races that we weren't using.
These aren't the only mods we are using so if we need to send in the active mod list I can!
