Hey there! One of your mods (restored content, probably) replaces my modified version of baseitems.2da. Kreia's lightsaber has a special weapon type stored in that file, so each time the game tries to load her weapon (which happens exactly in situations you described), game would crush.
Instead of using workshop, I advise you to install my mod manually through nexus:

Dear AxC,
Unfortunately for me, the mod crashes my game just before meeting Sion, and also just before getting Kreia on board of the Ebon Hawk.
I did try to reinstalling, but does not work.

Yes, this bug has already been reported and fixed. I also can't reproduce it anymore, so I guess the mod didn't update for some reason when I released the fix. Reinstalling will definitely help!

I've got my own soft lock issue: in the secret tomb on Korriban, when vision-Traya shows up, she presents Kreia's regular Ebon Hawk dialogue tree, rather than the unique vision dialogue needed to trigger the vision's party conflict. (And she has this mod's lightsaber.) Unsubscribing and reloading a beginning-of-tomb autosave fixes it.

I did it on the Lightsaber on Peragus Mod, even if she only got to use it for about 5 seconds before having one of her hands chopped off xD

Much thanks! And that is very odd. I knew that both Atris and Traya shared the same utc file, but I didn’t know they could meld into one npc if one of the files is changed. Very odd. Thanks again for the fix, and if something else comes up I’ll post again here.

Hello again, thanks for the detailed report, you're really helping me out on this!
I implemented something that I hope is a temporary fix by removing my changes to original Darth Traya entirely. Just load a save before you return to the Polar Academy to Atris, and it should be fine.
Turns out for some conspirological reason both Atris and Traya referrenced by the same n_darthtraya001.utc file I've edited, but since they're packed in different modules, they create different npc's, BUT as I edit a single file, they both turn into one.
I think I will get around this, eventually, but as of now I'd better just make the game completeble.

A little more information, the game does the exact same thing as the last bug, where if I uninstall it crashes, this time though unlike the last soft lock problem I had, Kriea won't even have regular dialogue options appear. It's very strange.

Sorry for another comment on this post, but I just came across another game breaking soft lock. This time it happens on Telos, towards the end of the game. When you're supposed to fight Atris. This time she's been replaced by Darth Traya, and walking into the chamber a soft lock happens. Locking the door behind, and that's it. Very strange glitch. Hope you can fix it! Thanks.

Once you update, be sure to load a save BEFORE you enter this tomb with visions.

I also just encountered this bug and had the same symptoms as the other guy. Uninstall = game crash, install = soft lock. Besides that enjoying the mod :steamthumbsup:

Also, I forgot to mention but this is my first time playing with this mod. This is the most recent mod I installed. I play with a couple of other mods but this is the first time this glitch has ever happened in my play through of the game. (Also, a bit of praise. I’m glad someone did this mod. I’ve been wondering when it would come to the workshop. So thank you. Pls fix. 👍)

There is a game breaking glitch that this mod causes, and it happens in the cave. Once I get to the vision with Kreia, my game soft locks and goes into a regular dialogue options and the cutscene just never plays out, and uninstalling the mod just causes the game to crash. I think that is to be expected though. I'm playing with TSLRCM by the way, if that is something the author needs to know.

Also the recording started working as normal once I unsubscribed from this mod so I'm fairly certain this is the cause. The only other mod I have is the restoration mod if there is somehow a conflict with that.

This mod seems to break the camera recording of Sion breaking out of his kolto tank. Viewing the recording shows a black screen instead of the usual cutscene, and once it's over Sion and the republic soldier remain there without despawning. Viewing the recording again gives you more than one lightsaber and spawns another Sion + republic soldier right next to the first ones.

An interesting find! I just checked the files of this mod, and I see no conflicts. So it's safe to say they are both compatible.

I wonder if it's possible to mod in a robot hand, cybernetics in Star Wars seems pretty commonplace,even in the Old Republic era I see no reason Kreia has to run around forever with one hand.

Definitely more than just an exile, but an exile nonetheless. Kreia was a Jedi long before becoming a Sith, but when her students left to fight in the Mandalorian Wars, fell to the dark side, or literally created a new Sith Empire (her favorite, Revan), the Jedi Council cast her out.

Then the Sith Triumvirate happened, she was betrayed and exiled as a Sith this time around. And she presents herself as a complete exile, probably to better resonate with Meetra (the MC) I guess.

And now it's fixed! I wasn't able to reproduce the crash at first, so it took a while.

Btw, if you're already past the Kreia and Sion point, you can still receive the lightsaber as long as you haven't boarded the Ebon Hawk, so give it a try)

this needs fixing, tried 1 playthrough with this mod, got it to the kreia and sion part and it kept crashing my game. even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling once that cutscene was over and it crashed every time. Only other mods i've been using are texture mods and tslrcm so i don't think thats the issue, either way i hope it gets fixed but its a good mod idea
