Took me a month, patched it. BL should works now and there is no longer the red error from XML mines since I removed the code.
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Aug 9 @ 10:22pm
The patching will be done by the end of this week, please remove it for now. I will fix it.

Just stopping by to let you know that after a lot of bug testing, I found that this was the mod causing me to have a black screen upon loading my mods, just letting you know, and thank you for the amazing work.
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Jul 14 @ 11:12pm
I will look into it. I did want to add mines but didn’t planned the deadline so it is just there.
redanddead12345 Jul 14 @ 9:15pm
i also apparently cant even close comments myself. its "!-->" not "-->"

sorry dev
redanddead12345 Jul 14 @ 9:13pm
oh wow i already talked about this. LMAO. I saw this error again and assumed it was in the soviet mod, not the british one.

yeah for those of you wondering: the problem xml seems to reference the soviet mod mines, and left an open comment that blocks all but the single <Defs> tag...which means the closing </Defs> tag is also hidden. this causes the error.

two ways to fix this is to remove the open comment, and have duplicate calls to the soviet mines, no biggie, or just before </Defs>, close the comment.

or in theory remove the xml all together since it doesnt seem to do anything anyway, but idk if i'd play that gamble since im not the dev. it might be anchored to something or something.

Just a heads-up - since the mod apparently is still throwing the xml-parsing error - and 1.6 will probably be way more strict with errors like this, so not to say if that might soon cause more severe consequences than just erroring. I 'fixed' the file in a recent troubleshoot over on the Community Discord, so feel free to grab it there if you still haven't figured out how to close a comment in xml: https://discord.com/channels/214523379766525963/1391867332757819494/1391871819136635062

Are these mods compatible with Frontlines?
redanddead12345 May 5 @ 9:47am
ah, its just: <!-- comment -->
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] May 5 @ 6:45am
Yes, I do not know how to close it. It only appears when you use CE though, it means that the 'patch' is working. It also do only appear once and never affect the gameplay except two red lines. Sorry for the inconvenience but you can look over it.
redanddead12345 May 5 @ 3:19am
its the very first line btw
redanddead12345 May 5 @ 3:19am
hello dev! i was wondering if you knew an unclosed comment in your buildings_security xml would cause a parsing error? i was going through my mods clearing console errors and found this mistake...at least i think it was a mistake, anyway.

i simply closed it off and no longer seem to have a parsing error

Aye, cheers mate! Take it slow though, when that time comes. Don't burn yourself out.
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Mar 15 @ 2:28am
Update!
Everyone, I can continue my passion next month. Thank you for your supports! :steamhappy:

Take your time chief, modding is no joke. Love what you've put together so far. Hope to see Italian and Japanese expansions if possible. (I fascinate a lot about their ordnance given their unique circumstances and rarity, happy to consult and provide reference if needed!)
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Jan 2 @ 12:15am
Sorry to disappoint you guys. I am busy with my daily life and it is hard to make artwork right now. This mod Borfor, 4.5 inch, and Pom Pom has to be delayed for a while. The duration is unknown, but I will do it once everything is better, I promise. :steamhappy:

Does this mod have any known incompatibilities I cant seem to get the WP ammo for the land mattress to work or maybe im just wrong if anyone has a clip of it working that would be a helpful reference :)

holy I never realized they were so big IRL, but even so, the models still seem too big in rimworld, but hey thats just my opinion
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Nov 28, 2024 @ 12:02am
Despite that, most of them are slightly smaller than their real-life counterpart.
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Nov 28, 2024 @ 12:02am
These models are based on the size of the real-life size of it.
[FWKZT] Texas Man Nov 27, 2024 @ 11:40pm
why are the models so big?
Animal 7 Nov 24, 2024 @ 4:49pm
Is this mod compatable with Combat Removed?
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Nov 22, 2024 @ 10:32pm
It is only in combat extend
Der Spumersen Nov 21, 2024 @ 10:52am
A very stupid question, but how can I use artillery on the global map, I can’t find either a button or a command?
Salty Slothy Nov 19, 2024 @ 9:23pm
Ok, I know it’s not really a defensive emplacement, but the British Piat would be a meme worthy weapon for the rim.
Plank Nov 19, 2024 @ 8:03am
i love these mods
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Nov 18, 2024 @ 8:36am
Sure, I could do that.
delta23 Nov 18, 2024 @ 4:12am
have Oerlikon?
Meakin Nov 18, 2024 @ 12:01am
Well why would the bofors be a must, and the pompom not? The bofors is the same calibre as the pompom and QF-2pdr (that being 40mm), and the bofors and QF-2pdr are the ones who have roughly the same overall cartridge length, whereas the pompom has a much shorter cartridge. The pompom was also more widely used in Britain (definitely at sea, though I'm less sure overall), while also being a little more nation specific than the bofors. The pompom, in eight, six, or four gun mounts could be a very firepower dense (for the tile space) shorter range weapon
Little Walking Apocalypse  [author] Nov 17, 2024 @ 10:42pm
This will take at least a month or so, I will add these after adding some werfers for the ger. Planing to add QF-25 and Borfor is a must. 4.5 inch is maybe, but is pompom really necessary? It is like QF-2 but much more faster, isn't it?
Meakin Nov 17, 2024 @ 6:31pm
Just some ideas for weapons that might add something new to the Rim:
- 25pdr = a high rate of fire heavy gun
- 2pdr pompoms = most of all in the eight barrel mounts; just a lot of 40mm dakka. And they're just cool.
- 4.5 inch medium gun = long range (map tiles) with small-ish explosion but a lot of heavy frag (thinking most about CE)
- Hedgehog = a weird but fun one lol. 24 heavy mortars (178mm) in a wide spread with limited range. That could be so fun for a close range burst weapon

You could go on and on into the crazy heavy stuff, or make a page lost list, but I'll try and hold off lol
Blutdrachen Nov 17, 2024 @ 2:45pm
Needs the octuple pompom, because everything is better with eight 38mm auto cannons.
A Bat From Wuhan Nov 17, 2024 @ 1:28pm
I was just lamenting the fact that you didn't have a British version of your mods.

If you were open to adding more options, I'd like to see the QF-25 Pounder Howitzer, and the Bofors 40mm cannon. They are both iconic British WWII weapons, and would fill a role not otherwise covered by the existing assets ( an indirect fire cannon, and a rapid-fire auto-cannon.)
