Purity Control  [author] Sep 25 @ 2:12pm
@dannygaw it's still working for me sir
dannygaw Sep 21 @ 2:12am
@Purity Control Please update to 1.56 thanks
FindFloppies Aug 24 @ 9:36am
@Desperado: I think that gets into spawning, and the one file in this mod does not modify that, afaik.
FindFloppies Aug 24 @ 9:27am
If you load this *before* <other ai traffic mod> the safety settings will override the settings in the one file this mod has in it.
DeadByDebt Aug 24 @ 7:47am
@Romarus definitely realistic though lmao
BADSMATS145 Aug 24 @ 5:21am
Had this mod on for about 4-6 in game hours and noticed no change in ai behavior.
Desperado Aug 24 @ 4:28am
Hi, is it possible to modify the mod so that traffic gets heavier the closer you get to cities and less as you leave them? Also in smaller cities. A few more small trucks, vans, and cars.
Thanks in advance – good mod, by the way.
FindFloppies Jul 12 @ 4:28pm
It's not at al unusual for an ai vehicle to come off a cloverleaf, and just keep going into the other half of it straight ahead of it, rather than merge into traffic? I see this, and things like coming off a diamond interchange, and then just crossing straight to the onramp, rather than turning left or right. Is this usual for unmodded behavior, or is it responding to the increased safety factor in the traffic_data file in this mod? Just curious if unmodded ai traffic does this, too...?
FindFloppies Jul 5 @ 5:48pm
Agreed. I'm also still using the ETS2 version on 1.55 just grafting in the guts from this one
Mr.Goodman Jul 5 @ 1:37pm
alrighty
Purity Control  [author] Jul 5 @ 11:24am
@Mr.Goodman I'm on 1.55 and it still works, no update necessary
Mr.Goodman Jul 4 @ 4:55pm
you gonna update this for 1.55?
jamesltompkins261 Jun 22 @ 3:10am
if ya wonder how your reflexes are about how fast can you stop latterly in reality know matter how you try it is always intimate crashes. Only your reflexes can or be reliable enough to ovoid it by seeing it coming. But not always crashes can be avoided. Unlike road rage it real and it happens so if ya are close to a vehicle try a two or three car cushion or more depending on your speed.
BobbPenn May 6 @ 7:13am
@Romarus that's the only situation I go for a shoulder lane undertake. If it's not available, sometimes I manage to slow down one of them with a gentle side nudge if I can come aside just close enough. It's fun ;)
Romarus May 3 @ 12:33am
ok:Dandelion:
Purity Control  [author] May 2 @ 6:34pm
@Romarus I've tried believe me, it frustrates me too
Fr00sty May 2 @ 6:32pm
@wymancaleb16 You really caught a nice detail. It didn't give me much confidence when I see small picture.
wymancaleb16 May 2 @ 10:40am
in the thumbnail, the vehicles in the lane between the e and the v in "drivers" are about to hit a head on collision.
Romarus Apr 27 @ 2:15am
Is it possible to make it so that these idiots don't drive constantly in the left lane slower than the maximum speed. And that there are no situations when cars are driving in two lanes at the same time and you have nowhere to go. I hate it.

@Romarus yes
Purity Control  [author] Apr 25 @ 7:30pm
@Teneksi glad you liked the mod! ;)
Teneksi Apr 25 @ 3:04am
the AI slop thumbnail has cars on the wrong side of the road. seems fitting
FindFloppies Apr 20 @ 1:48pm
@Antony it's mostly a positive experience. Everyone once in a while a merging car will duck right in front of you, and somethng that i'm not sure if is Realistic Drivers or a tweak to the game itself is I've had AI drivers opposite me turn to the right, right in front of me when I had a left turn light, and I had to slam on my brakes. But the overall experience, imo, is very much an improvement. Can't have everything, as they say.
Antony Apr 20 @ 1:43pm
If it works then this is the mod ive Looking for. Sick to death of trying to enter a road and having a decision to make on weather to run out of road or let a car ram me from behind or block me from entering. Some trips its almost impossible to complete an accident free trip. They should be the exception not the norm. They have taken the worst habits of drivers and made them all like that in this game. Hope this mod sorts it.
Bleachbaby Apr 18 @ 12:12am
Not to put down this mod, i'm sure it is fantastic; but I always thought the AI was brilliant and super realistic. American truck sim AI drive like insane Americans, euro truck sim AI both 1 and 2 drive more reserved. That said, just my experience, but i'll try this mod and see how it feels.
Purity Control  [author] Apr 15 @ 9:18pm
apparently when i pushed upload last time it did not upload, that problem has been corrected
HSCfan Apr 15 @ 11:27am
Coming|_Soon, "Push" can mean many things, but in this case, Push refers to a system in which data is "pushed" to a device by a server rather than "pulled" or "fetched" after a request by the user. The server initiates the data transfer when new content is available without any action taken by the client device.
FindFloppies Apr 15 @ 11:05am
it's working fine in 1.54 for me.
Soon_™ Apr 15 @ 8:56am
What do you mean by the update is pushed eh??? When can we expect it to be updated then ??
Purity Control  [author] Apr 10 @ 12:12pm
1.54 update is pushed
Dominik Apr 7 @ 11:32pm
1.54 when?
Azuirele Apr 3 @ 6:45pm
@FindFloppies If it can stack, then there is no need for mods to have load order in first place, it exist because same file that loaded first will only be read. This mod is great, but you need to merge this yourselves with other traffic mod that edit the same files. It's simple like that
Purity Control  [author] Apr 3 @ 10:10am
@NikRoy it's set to universal, it should still work
NikRoy85 Apr 3 @ 9:53am
When for the compatibility of version 1.54
FindFloppies Mar 30 @ 7:07am
@Azuirele that's not true. You *can* stack this with a density mod, and see different results. But, you can think as you wish.
NikRoy85 Mar 30 @ 6:44am
UPDATE per 1.54
Azuirele Mar 10 @ 8:04am
This mod shouldn't be compatible with any traffic density mods like the author mentioned because they all modify this same file : traffic_data. And the game right now can't separately recognize different numbers on the same edited data from multiple mods, it only recognizes the entire file from the mod the loaded first. Therefore, the only way you could "make this compatible" with your other traffic density is to open the file from both mods, and combine them to match your preference
TheRebelGreaser Mar 9 @ 8:03pm
I'm not sure if this mod is working for me cuz I have it on the highest priority above any other traffic mod I have including real traffic density for ATS and the vehicle still relatively act like I don't exist, so exactly what is the issue with my mod should I just unsubscribe and then resubscribe.

Cuz the traffic is definitely not doing what it's supposed to I don't think not even just that but they sometimes crash into each other.
Purity Control  [author] Mar 5 @ 7:04am
@Tokisaki Kurumi excellent news :) enjoy!!!!
Tokisaki Kurumi Mar 4 @ 10:48pm
Yes, you're right, I have a Real Traffic Density ATS mod that contains that file, and when I put the mod's on it, the vehicles don't crash into me anymore, even though they're relatively close to me. Thank you, and you for this very helpful mod, I decided to use it to continue my journey in American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2
Purity Control  [author] Mar 4 @ 5:02pm
@Tokisaki Kurumi: It sounds like the mod isn't working for you at all, this behavior is expected for the original base game. I do not encounter these issues anymore since I made the mod. What I can suggest is to make sure you do not have any other mods that change the "traffic_data.sii" file. If you cannot locate any mods that change that file, I would then suggest un-subscribing from this mod, then re-subscribing. If that also does not work, then I would set this mod as a higher priority, try putting it at the top (if you can.) This is not required when the mod is working correctly, and if you are able to fix the problem, you can lower the priority for it. The problems you've described are extreme and definitely should not be caused by this mod. Please let me know if any of these suggestions fixes the problem. Thank you and I wish you're able to fix the problems :)
Tokisaki Kurumi Mar 4 @ 6:11am
Hi Purity Control, I wish I could request some adjustments, I'm using the steering wheel as well as a screen, which is causing it to be difficult for me to notice incoming cars in the left and right directions. Normally, when I turn left or right from a three-way intersection (no traffic lights), I am always prone to being hit by a car and getting fined, similar to on the highway, when I need to drive from the left onto the right ramp, although I use the turn signals in advance every time, they don't seem to slow down, and only stop when they have the effect of almost stopping the car. I hope that when I use my turn signal, the vehicles behind me, and when I'm at a three-way intersection (there are no traffic lights), oncoming traffic in the left and right directions will always slow down or stop. I don't know anything about computer programming, so I thought maybe I could ask you to do something and hope the translator would be able to express me accurately.

Purity Control@
My g_traffic value is at 1
Purity Control  [author] Feb 27 @ 10:51am
Continuation from comment below: I play with my g_traffic value set to 2.0, if you guys could also let me know what value you play at that would be helpful as well
Purity Control  [author] Feb 27 @ 10:50am
@holybattlefield, @rosso-bianco, @miker107:

I've spent the last few days only running ST jobs with different cargos and in different states, I 100% believe you guys but I've been unable to replicate that issue. Do me a favor and unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod just to check, I've made a few tweaks recently. I'll continue running ST's in the meantime and continue to try to replicate the issue.
Nuheni Feb 26 @ 8:04am
It does feel a lot less erratic and smoother now, cheers
miker107 Feb 23 @ 2:41pm
As has been mentioned below, I experience cars pulling out from stopped on coming traffic at the last minute and causing me to collide head on with them. This was happening occasionally before the mod so i can't blame the mod. However, I did have a firetruck slam into the back of my trailer while I was completely stopped at a red light LOL
