Cant get bowls back from Rotten Yeast Culture

It says that in the processing of brown sugar, it produces yeast.
So by "refining" brown sugar you will also get some yeast. (already tested in game and it works)

crafting brown sugar doesnt yield any yeast

Does using poison berries for a puree make products poisonous like it does for certain recipes in the base game?

Can you add some other pot to recipe? Other than just kettle - to extract shugar.

Nevermind, it looks like I just didn't have enough fresh puree initially. After getting lvl 7 cooking I can now use rotten food while cooking, and the recipes are available with my stack of rotten puree

for that matter all the recipes are doing the same thing. I can't make the yeast culture or make fruit jam either.

My puree is now rotten, but all the recipes still show as green as if that should work, but all the crafting buttons are greyed out.

How do I actually extract the sugar? I have a kettle filled with water, berry puree, sterilized cloth. When I open craft helper I don't get the option to craft even though the recipe is green (indicating it should be available) and with the vanilla craft menu it says I have the required ingredients but the craft icon is greyed out.

I have lvl 6 cooking, and tried doing it by a stove that is turned on with both the kettle inside the stove and hot, and outside the stove. Just can't get it to work

Great idea sugar mash would make it easier to craft. Its really hard to find 16 berries of the same kind and keep the rest of them from spoiling. Thanks for your help. Your mods are great! Keep up the good work.

@RΞB ah! I finally understand, yes the 16 berry happens because of how PZ handles recipes, there are many different kinds of berries but the Crafting System only handles " A number of each type" of recipe. Thats why its like that.

We can either make a recipe to convert any berry into a Sugar Mush, and use that Mush to be used to make the Brown Sugar.

We would have to make use of the kettle in making the brown sugar and some water.

add in the cooking pot into the refine sugar and add in a strainer, lets say we'll use a sterilized rag to refine our sugar and get the white sugar.

we could also add in your suggestion to make a yeast culture and it will the yeast, a jar and lid then more berries, then we need to cook it. It will do the same process with the vinegar mash but this time it will give more yeast maybe 2-3 yeast. chance of getting extra.

I finally checked it and it seems like i have to find 16 berries of one type. Can it be changed to 16 berry of any type?

I LOVE craft helper cannot recommend it enough.

its a helper mod to know all recipes in your project zomboid and if its having a conflict with another mod you have, also to help me check if its something wrong with my mod and I can fix it.

Because im thinking it might be another mod that is overriding this mods recipe.

For some reason we can't craft brown sugar in multiplayer. And sugar cost is one berry in our menu.

You can try to add different yeast crafting. Yeast culture in jar or something like this. You add berries/sugar crafted from berries and some yeast and this would make more yeast after some time. It will be harder to make since you have to wait some time before it finishes but it would be more realistic.

Nice work! I thought that its a shame that there is no vinegar fermenting mod about a month ago and here you are saving the day.
