just chiming in that I'm also missing all but 9 city states, I'd love if you put them back in they look like a BLAST!

trying to play as (demon Monsters) and the game says "loading please wait" on black screen game startup. i know that when i play other civs they can be in the game no issue as AI.

Hey, my friend and I would like to play a game on this map, yet there seems to be an issue regarding some of the city states.
I don't know if any of them were officially removed from the mod, but we can only see 9 of them in-game. The ones we can add to our game are:
Korok, Lucky Clover Gazette, Yiga, Bolson Construction, Zonai, Great Fairy, Ancient Tech Lab, Selmie's Spot, Hudson Construction and Stable Trotters.

Please let me know if there was an issue with the mod that causes us to miss out on the other ones or if they were purposefully removed. Thanks for the great mod again!

Linkmon12 Feb 14 @ 2:43pm
@ScramblyDan yeah did you find a work around?
Linkmon12 Feb 14 @ 2:16pm
what dlc dose this actual require?

Update to update: Looks like UI confusion was caused by another UI mod being weird about custom civ uniques. Means that the initial point where I thought it was working has nothing to do with your mod, and everything to do with a visual bug. So it's back to the original problem: my game doesn't give great writer slots to the zora monument on both Mac and Windows.
Geekwithd20s Jan 14 @ 9:56pm
Update: Even on Windows it is not working just fine for me. Text originally said it has two slots in build menu, does not have any slots once built. Text no longer says it has slots in build menu.
Geekwithd20s Jan 14 @ 6:52pm
Did some testing, looks like it's only a problem with the Mac version of the game, which is the main version I use. Tested it on Windows (on the same machine with boot camp, nonetheless) and it works just fine.

I'm going to assume that the Mac version of the game (as a whole) isn't fully updated to the version the Windows one is, and that the version of your mod Steam chooses for Mac users is the one meant to work with the older version. I have no additional knowledge to confirm this, but this would not be the first time something like this has happened to a Mac version of a game.

@Geekwithd20s The Stone Monument should have 2 slots. I just looked in the code and tested it in game and it shows the 2 slots. This was, however, something I had initially forgotten and added later in an update. So perhaps you don't have the latest version?
Geekwithd20s Jan 3 @ 12:52pm
Since you've made a great mod here, I would love to make adding Great Work of Writing slot to the Stone Monument easier, so I found the code that adds great work slots to the Amphitheater, hopefully it should help you put it in, as I'm not quite knowledgeable enough to edit my local version of your mod myself.
<Row BuildingType="BUILDING_AMPHITHEATER" GreatWorkSlotType="GREATWORKSLOT_WRITING" NumSlots="2"/>
Geekwithd20s Jan 3 @ 1:28am
Small tweak requested: The Stone Monument building for the Zora doesn't have any great works of writing slots, making any earned great writers practically useless. Any chance you could please add a slot to the building?

@griffin_kyle44 Yeah, I did. This was a problem I, too, encountered while testing. I gave the Gerudo the strongest starting bias towards oases, but often I had to reroll a few times to actually get an oasis close by.
griffin_kyle44 Dec 27, 2024 @ 4:57pm
Have you modded the start bias for each civ/leader? I've only tried Gerudo so far, but cannot seem to start near an oasis no matter how much desert I put on the map.

Love this mod on my PC! Has anyone had an issue with this mod loading on steam deck?
David Dec 11, 2024 @ 8:09am
You're a hero!
Boks1S  [author] Dec 9, 2024 @ 12:05pm
@David I didn't know it was appearing in the leader list for people, because for me it wasn't. I'll just remove the file then.
David Dec 8, 2024 @ 5:14am
Also won't it cause issues if random selection picks the city state test civ?
David Dec 7, 2024 @ 6:55pm
@Boks1S this looks really cool and I love it, but if you would puret hat city state test civ from the selection screen- it's uh... it's an OCD itch, to the extreme.

10/10

I absolutely adore this, its a more realized version than the old zelda mod in almost every way and I think your bonuses are balanced and the AI is lovely! Do you have any plans for a map, religions, any new civs or leaders?
Boks1S  [author] Dec 5, 2024 @ 12:16pm
@fernieskywalker Yes, that's correct. I haven't been able to figure out how to fix that. So instead I made sure that every civ had a whole bunch of songs per era to limit repeats.
fernieskywalker Dec 4, 2024 @ 5:55pm
Does anyone have a problem where the only music that plays is the music from one of these civs(when you have them in game obviously)

I have no culture. Foreigners can't understand, we need Chinese:lunar2024dragoninablanket:
fatzebra Nov 4, 2024 @ 8:38pm
Thank you for answer.
In my environment, the leader selection screen shows “CITY STATE TEST CIV”, so I was wondering what the problem might be.
I also took the liberty of asking the question because I thought the file CityStateTester.sql might be the cause.
Boks1S  [author] Nov 4, 2024 @ 12:28pm
@fatzebra Thanks! That's a 'civ' I used to test the suzerain bonuses with while creating city states. Attaching the suzerain ability to a regular civ is a lot more convenient than having to find and suze a city state everytime you're doing a test run. I could have deleted the file, since it's not actually doing anything in the end product, but it wasn't in the way, so I didn't bother.
fatzebra Nov 4, 2024 @ 6:14am
Thank you for a very nice mod!
By the way, what is the CityStateTester.sql about?
ranma_hf Nov 2, 2024 @ 2:02pm
thats alot love and care, fingers crossed for a mod with governors.
Boks1S  [author] Nov 2, 2024 @ 1:49pm
@ranma_hf Every Civ has their own custom music that also changes with the ages. There are like 180 music files in there. That's where probably most of the file size comes from.
ranma_hf Nov 1, 2024 @ 1:51pm
damn thats alot down loaded
