I'll note your feedback to look into sometime in the future.
To partially explain the lack of accuracy to how Niko moves in his own game in some cases, due to this being the first 2D Playable I partially focused more on keeping things simple so that others could use the mod files more easily to create their own 2D Playables.
Might setup a separate template 2D Playable mod for others to use instead to allow more specific things with Niko, but for the time being maintaining one mod and looking out for any major bugs makes things easier.
Also FrogVibes devs have seen the mod, I shared this on their official Discord server.
The first is that this mod IS recognized by Gears for Breakfast, as it is in the featured page when looking at mods.
The second is that I forgot to mention something, although it is positive unlike all the nit-picky stuff from the previous comments I made. It's nice how all the various effects from the game, like being burned, frozen with the ice hat, and even something as specific as being cursed in Vanessa's curse apply properly to Niko, as if the game was designed for 2D images.
Also, sorry for the gazillion comments. My rant was too long for Steam so I had to cut it up like this.
The first is when landing on the ground after jumping. It plays Niko's falling animation, when, in Here comes Niko!, that same animation plays after jumping, and the last frame of the animation is shown when falling without jumping. IDK if you can get that specific in AHIT's code to be able to program it so the animation plays while jumping and only the last frame when falling, but the idea of the falling animation playing partway through the jumping animation sounds like it would possible, especially if you just combine the jumping and falling animations into one longer animation that can get interrupted by landing or other animations that might interrupt a jump.
I feel stupid for talking about this because of how much detail already went into this mod, surely this has been thought of and just isn't possible, but I thought I'd ask about it anyway.
Your mod is truly groundbreaking. Thank you.
Starts to require knowledge of coding, and teaching that is beyond the scope of this mod.
do you have any instructions on adding sprites or animations to the ones the mod is packaged with? I was hoping I could do hat and flair textures and expressions, but I'm not seeing those included in the prepackaged textures. Many thanks in advance!
Also, even funnier is having the Moon Jumper Badge Seller mod just so the character isn't lonely in being the only 2D character in the game. :P

I can try looking into making it more subtle, since this is the only 2D Playable mod I am trying to keep it as a simple as possible template for others to work from.
Still, very good mod with the first 2D playable on the workshop and hope to see some other potential 2d playables.
