Weird- might have done something wrong, but I nearly got to Truro and there are a set of buffers blocking my way. What have I done wrong or is this a test or is payment necessary?
philip  [author] Mar 18, 2018 @ 2:41pm
@Stewie Lil Hmmm strange one that. Have you got all the DLCs? Maybe try reinstalling the route?
Stewie Lil Mar 15, 2018 @ 5:29pm
None of the ground textures are appearing. Only the grey and white tiles. Any help?
philip  [author] Sep 17, 2017 @ 1:31am
@AmtrakMatt Yes it has been, it's an error with the upload I think as for me it works fine. Have tried fixing it several times to avail unfortunately :(
philip  [author] Sep 17, 2017 @ 1:31am
@Joethefish Thankyou!
AmtrakMatt Sep 8, 2017 @ 10:40am
hi phillip not sure if anyone reported this. when u leave st erth after from penzance theres alot of 109 mph boards on hud screen but on the tracks theres alot of 0 mph boards.
Joethefish Sep 7, 2017 @ 10:20am
I enjoyed a lovely end to a long London to Penzance run on this route. Thanks for making it!
philip  [author] Aug 7, 2017 @ 12:06pm
@Major Tom Thankyou very much!
Candleton Aug 7, 2017 @ 10:07am
How on earth have I not discovered this already?! Have waited for this to be modeled for sometime, excellent work!
philip  [author] Apr 26, 2017 @ 1:11pm
@pparnis Thankyou very much! It certainly was a long time, (worth it though), and a pleasure. Please feel free to create scenario as well!
pparnis Apr 26, 2017 @ 12:10pm
Hi Phil,
Have played and commented on some of your scenarios in the past but only just discovered your route "Par Penzance".
Well I must say you have done a splendid job here. I have tried a "Quick Drive" and will now have a look at your scenarios.May even create one myself on this lovely route.
Well done and thanks for all the time and effort this must have taken.
Regards, Paul
TheWierdOne Apr 5, 2017 @ 2:29am
oh yeah 2 then: riviera and falmouth
philip  [author] Apr 4, 2017 @ 12:25pm
@TheWierdOne Whixh is the other one? Without the other 2 the route is still playable.
TheWierdOne Apr 4, 2017 @ 4:48am
great, only got 3 left to get :(
philip  [author] Apr 3, 2017 @ 2:12pm
@TheWierdOne Brighton for some track I believe (if not it's just scenery), Carslile is just for assets (not very many). It will still run without these routes.
TheWierdOne Apr 2, 2017 @ 2:00am
why are the brighton and carlisle routes needed?
philip  [author] Mar 27, 2017 @ 9:51am
@joshb1990 Thankyou very much! Having just looked at the route I think the platforms are Woodhead ones which would explain why you couldn't see them.
joshb1990 Mar 27, 2017 @ 6:51am
Hi philip. Firstly, can I just say that I live in Penzance, and the detail that you've put into the route is fantastic! The only problem I seem to have is that St Erth platform doesn't display. The fencing and buildings are there just no platforms. I've got all routes except the Woodhead route installed. Any ideas? Josh :)
Connor Feb 15, 2017 @ 6:10pm
hi again ive found out why the speed limits arent working. if you add me on steam i will go into the details :)
philip  [author] Jan 5, 2017 @ 1:00pm
@Connor Thankyou very much! Yes, I'm not sure what went wrong during the upload with them, I'm currently coming towards the end of my latest project.
Connor Jan 3, 2017 @ 3:23pm
This is by far the best workshop addon for train sim. only flaw is the speed limits. keep up the good work i love it
philip  [author] May 11, 2016 @ 11:58am
@Popplio Yes it is
smiling man thumbs up May 9, 2016 @ 10:20am
This'll be good for GWR reskins, is it final?
philip  [author] Jan 4, 2016 @ 7:52am
You do have to move across the whole route unless achieved through a quick drive or other scenario. I you press the shift key you move a lot faster.
12345_ Jan 4, 2016 @ 7:43am
How do you do that without actually moving across the whole route?
philip  [author] Jan 4, 2016 @ 7:39am
I would fly to another location and place a scenario marker there for a new scenario.
12345_ Jan 4, 2016 @ 3:52am
Got it, all working fine just a quick question; when im building a scenario how do i start it anywhere other than truro? Great route by the way
12345_ Jan 4, 2016 @ 3:29am
If i buy the falmouth branch i will have spent a lot just for this route, will it definitaly work and will it be worth it? thanks
philip  [author] Jan 3, 2016 @ 1:56pm
The track rule and base asset pack is the Falmouth Branch, which would be why
12345_ Jan 3, 2016 @ 12:45pm
I have tried loading the game at the route origin and there is no floor or tracks, i have them all apart from settle-carlisle and falmouth, why isnt it working?
JohnnyR Aug 19, 2015 @ 4:30am
Undriveable in a safe manner - several colour-light signals showing red with no prior warning, some feathers lit for straight routes. Haven't seen any distant signals for semaphores. Speed limit signs all show 0. In F3/F4 controls all speed limits show 200 regardless or the real speed limit so no prior warning of 30 mph at Truro. Gradients show in percentages, US-style.
philip  [author] Jun 21, 2015 @ 2:21am
Not all of them are completely necessary eg. the route would feel playable without the S&C or the Woodhead but each on offers its own bit of extra detail which I felt at rhe time of making enhanced the route by a large enough amount to include but the only two that are completely necessary are Riviera Line and Falmouth Branch.
Bliff Curton Jun 21, 2015 @ 2:11am
why do you have to have so many routes? I cant afford all of this
philip  [author] Apr 13, 2015 @ 6:14am
(philips_98) Unfortunately that would mean doing 3d models and you cannot upload seperately 3d modelled assets to the workshop, sorry!
philip  [author] Apr 13, 2015 @ 6:12am
(Vague) You could change the track rule all to Falmouth or all to Riviera Line I think but I'm not sure because I get the proper ones but nobody else seems to have
Horny Captain Apr 13, 2015 @ 5:51am
Is there anyway to fix the incorrect speed limits?
philips_98 Mar 14, 2015 @ 8:41am
Hi Philip - Any chance of some station signage? Lovely routes, thank you! Cheers,
[TFA]Wolf Feb 26, 2015 @ 12:04pm
Good to hear, best of luck! :)
philip  [author] Feb 26, 2015 @ 11:56am
Ok, thanks for the feedback, I am trying to improve the ground textures and clutter in the route I am creating now because this is the final version!
[TFA]Wolf Feb 26, 2015 @ 7:11am
I like the route and it's potential, though it still needs some work concerning the landscaping and the the trackrules, but I think pjt took care of the latter.

Is this and the version with the St. Ives the final stage of development?

If so now might be a good time to sit down and work out some of the kinks from the landscaping.
It needs a few more details and a bit smoother change between the ground textures, at the moment it lacks clutter and a lot of the smaller details that make it come alive.
There are also quite a few sharp edges in the terrain that need to be rounded out.

Most of it will come to you with experience.

Overall I like it and I see potential, but some polishing would improve it.

It was with RWTools. I've invited you as a friend. If you want, accept the firend request and I'll get your email address off you in private and send you over the edited file.
philip  [author] Jan 22, 2015 @ 11:37am
Thanks, I might do that trick - did you do it in utilities?
pjt1974 Jan 21, 2015 @ 4:40pm
Hi Phil, Excellent route. I had really good run from Penzance to Truro. One problem I was finding was an issue with the Track Rule causing gradients to show as percentage and speed limits to show as '308'. Upon closer inspection I found the route was looking for a Trackrule called 'RL_Track_Rule.xml' in the RSC/FalmouthBranch folder which isn't there. I hope you don't mind but I editing out 'RL_Track_Rule.xml' and replaced with the 'RaW Track Rule.xml' that is in the RSC/FalmouthBranch folder and it does seem to have done the trick. One more thing I saw was the feather on the signal leaving Penzance wasn't showing me as the junction was set. Maybe swapping over the links will do the trick. Keep up the good work.
Mattg17 Dec 28, 2014 @ 2:35pm
Ok then my trainspotting scenario will be on the workshop soon.
philip  [author] Dec 28, 2014 @ 1:19pm
yep
Mattg17 Dec 28, 2014 @ 1:12pm
I'm assuming that we are allowed to make our own scenarios for the route and publish them to the worshop. Now I can finally drive the final leg of Paddington - Penzance services.
roger.worner Dec 16, 2014 @ 7:08am
Any chance of a steam era overlay for St Ives as I would like to try to set up the Saturday Cornish Riviera trains (in and out!) as a scenario. Currently trying to find timetables to suit. great route though!
manic martin Dec 5, 2014 @ 10:08am
yeah it's a good route tho mate, i will get the others soon so i can have the platforms etc
philip  [author] Dec 5, 2014 @ 9:22am
yes, the Penzance roof is London-Oxford and platforms at St.Erth is Woodhead and most of the missing road bridges which you mention woyld probably be Settle and Carslile or Brighton Mainline.
manic martin Dec 4, 2014 @ 3:20pm
good route tho, i live around redruth, love my railways, enjoyed it so far
