Swapping the exe file should be enough. Using the monster command, in my experience, just reduces load times, but it causes a short stutter every time combat begins (because monsters are loaded during encounters instead of when you enter the dungeon).

This helps prevent crashes and asset death (blank white textures) when you have too many big mods.

@AmaraSN I love your whole Immersive Area mods, impressive work! But I have to warn that, at Champion Level, I was forced to disinstall the Immersive Ruins during the dungeon of the Necromancer otherwise the game will crash. This morning happened the same, I was doin a simple quest at Level 3 on the Warrens, and the game crashed, and to end the quest, I was forced to disinstall the Immersive Weald. Do you need more info's about the other mods I have installed? Hope that those warnings could be an help for you!

Ha! In PBD the Collector can only be fought in secret rooms, so you having rethemed the secret room background into its strorage room is very fitting.

I just fought it in a torchless run and the ambiece was *chef’s kiss*.

@Yogurt This mod incorporated all other background mods there are, except for the vanilla CC integration mod. You just need to place it above all other mods that add backgrounds if you're concerned about compatibility.

As for reverting to vanilla colors, I don't really know what values would be needed. It probably would be easier to just redo them from scratch, since the saturation and contrast is not uniform across the entire image; different objects had different edits.

I plan on releasing a vanilla version of my mods. However, they're low priority and I plan on doing that after I'm done releasing all the missing areas.

That aside, give it another chance and try messing with the in-game gamma setting if you feel the mod itself is too saturated for your taste. I understand if you still don't like it though. If there are specific objects that are too bright, then I'm always accepting feedback to make improvements.

I would love to use these packs but unfortunately they are oversaturated so they don't mix well with others. If I were to edit them to be more in line with vanilla colours, what values do you recommend for editing, saturation, contrast?

It's awesome! The ambiance! Even with more than 1300 hours played this makes the Ruins so much more immersive that it's almost a new experience to enter them. Keep up the good work!

By the way, is it fine to keep using Erkka's Aditional Room Variations and Room Backgrounds alongside this, without bothering to go into their files and remove the Ruins ones?

And More dungeon backround variations - Ruins - Reworked - I imagine you'd recommend dropping it to prevent muddling, right?

If you do, I'd say that give the backgrounds only to the bosses proper, and not to PBD's curio-summoned miniboss versions of them, particularly since the miniboss Necromancer is summoned via a hallway-only curio.

The compatibility patches are necessary specifically in regards to the boss rooms' backgrounds, as those are necessarily packed together with changes to the bosses' stats, right?

有史以来最棒的背景!及其具有沉浸感,不过有一个点,遗迹里面过道有个背景是紫色的虚空,中心是触手,就只有这一个感觉好出戏,其他的都感觉好棒!颇有黑暗绝望的氛围!:steamthumbsup:

@Ruby So, that was a dilemma I had when choosing the names of the backgrounds. Currently, they have the same name, so my mod will override matching backgrounds specifically in the Ruins. So, backgrounds from other areas are unaffected.

The reason why I chose to keep the name the same is in case you don't like the changes I made for one specific mod, but like the others, then you can simply put their mod above mine to keep the original work. Also, I changed the brightness and vibrance of all backgrounds, so at the very least, the hallways would look off if combined with the original.
