You didn't quite understand the mod that I sent you, it adds a couple of tiles that I use, but they are not in your version, but your mod also has tiles that I use, but they are not in the mode that I, if with two games, sits down, what do you think.

I try not to use mods that essentially do the same thing because one will most likely override the other. In this case, my mod gives you multi-directional seating which im pretty sure no one else has done. If you do choose to try and run both, I would suggest loading THIS mod after the other one so it gets final say in terms of tile def's which have directional parameters. I cant predict if any conflicts might exist nor do any tests since I am opted into B42.

B42 is bit too Anti-Mod right now... not tryna swim upstream, because the end result is, mod just breaks and replaced with some un-finished place-holder. Its just horrible ROI in terms of time invested, only to be tossed or sabotaged by the next update.

I haven't had the opportunity to use or support Lifestyle mods. If they add furniture, then those furniture tile definitions would have to be added either by : sub mod, by the Tileset modder, or otherwise. Unfortunately I'm stuck in B42.

Before B42 dropped and borked the whole sitting / lying provided by TrueActions, I was going to invite Tileset modders to include their own definitions for sitting at their discretion. That would make better sense than me running around trying to keep up with them all. I think that could still be an option assuming they are all not stuck in B42 as well.

Hello, is that mod also works for Lifestyle mods? I can't sit most of the couches in building menu so i want to know.

well... im not sure if this means all Tilesets will have to be fixed to use new sitting or not... My method was to do all the fixing here.. so I controlled what can be sat on. This seemed to be the most effective way to get them all in line.... hmmm.... not sure anymore. I kind of love it and hate B42 at the same time... going from sitting on just about anything back to limitations and waiting for tilesets to fix (if that is the case) because so many of them have missing direction params.

looks like B42 has enabled sitting in (4) Directions, and you can Rest (sit) or Sleep in beds.

Man I would love to see this mod, in build 42, is not the same going to "sleep" while standing besides the bed

@RaullxP... I added a part for Tileset authors to provide the info I need to add their seat objects in the discussion section / Topic Request to [ADD] seat objects. Because if I am not running their mod, then its unlikely I will be able to find the objects myself. :(

@RaullxP Maybe if you skip the names of the tiles or items, it might help the creator of this mod make compatibility faster than usual. :)

I wondered the something similar, but not from the prospective of adding multiple layers within the same tile, as that would change the whole game engine and how things render. But rather simply using the direction which the character approaches the tile to determine which layer the tile ends up at. As described in the description, this actually does matter. By that I mean, the position of the character at the time of sitting, determines the transparency level of the tile in relation to the character. Of course, some tiles are better with the character behind (like N/W couches) and some are better with character in Front, like benches and whatnot. So it is possible I would imagine to implement a sort of quick-teleport just before sitting to force which is would be. But I'm probably not going to try any time soon.

I wonder how feasible it would be to layer the tiles, with a cutoff point somewhere, where there's a 2nd tile on top of the first, which can make things look more realistic, for example having the right armrest of a chair be layered over your character when sitting down, giving the illusion of depth.

@V1-R1 Afaik this mod won't be necessary after B42 goes stable, since they said they would be adding sitting to objects with their depth-rework for tiles
