Wondering if the trick to park your car against a wall and sleep in the drivers seat still works for sleeping out the night when away from home? Or can they get you regardless?

After searching extensively for UV bulbs, I used one on a lamppost, and it didn't work. Volatiles pass through UV light without reacting at all.

Just like any other light.

Mystik if you read the comments below you'll see that the mod is broken for MP and he is currently working on not just a fix for it but Build 42 compatibility

Kinda of let down, the sound are very scary but unfortunately they are completely desync....
in MP meta event sound are desync across players so players hear screams at different times and when encountering the zombie can scream behind you and be on your left or when zombie dies it continues to scream... nice mod but not realistic and immersive as it should be

What would be the maximum or recommended values for too many to appear? Since when I set it to 100, only 1 or 2 appeared per neighborhood, and I would like there to be more.

@Flipper Sorry to hear that the multiplayer for this mod is in a very broken state, we'll be looking into it! before the mod was published i did pretty extensive testing, so a update to b41 must have broken some parts of the mod, thank you for the bug report

I just tested it by removing rally settings, definitive zombies, scent of blood, and it's still the same. I remember when I tested it in singleplayer when I was making the modpack the lights worked, I tried using purple light bulb uv light bulb and both don't work. I have the sandbox options indicated in the description since the beginning of the game.

any chance your playing with literally any other zombie Ai mod?if not One of the updates to build41 must have broken the mod then, i did pretty extensive mulitplayer testing before the mod was published, we'll have to take a look at whats going on.

@Flipper did you follow along with the sandbox settings as stated in the top of the mod page? those are VERY IMPORTANT settings as the description states, the mod will not function properly if those arnt set correctly, like the issues your experiencing.

this mod doesn't work well in multplayer? for me the zombies are with the volatiles skin and running, but the purple bulb light doesn't seem to affect them, and for the other players some of the volatiles are with normal skin

Build Update 42 is Coming!, its being ported over, before its released to the public were going to make a new trailer, and some new previews though as the old trailer is out of date, and didnt really do the mod justice.

@arenymous you gotta put the number higher to make it lower also dont use any zombie reskin mods itll conflict with the volatiles changing form and youll randomly start getting errors. nothing serious just annoying. Other than that this mod is one of my top 10.

Hello. At night, the screaming sounds are too loud and even though they are not near me, a sound like the spawning sound is constantly spammed. Is there a chance to change this? It's been a long time since I opened this save and I've progressed a lot.

My "crawl under vehicle" is set to "crawlers only" but I still see sprinters during the day. However, the speed for zombie lore is set to "shamblers", do I make it fast shamblers again for it to be fixed?

the UV lights don't seem to repel the Volatiles, tried with the Light-Switch Overhaul mod, Spawned in a couple of LightBulbUV's (couldn't find any anywhere otherwise) installed them and no luck the Volatiles don't mind the UV light. Am i missing something ?

Anyway you can make it so you can not push them over? I can easily kill them buy simply pushing them over and 2 tapping them with a Baseball bat, or just stomping a few times being down zombies are likely to be a crit I also upped the HP to 10 but still not hard to kill once pushed down.

@ilkankus Found the issue, the wording on the mod description is backwards, the higher the setting the lower the chance the scream will play, this wording will be fixed soon, in the meantime the higher the number the lower the chance, i set it to maximum and didnt hear a single scream.

The constant screams are still a thing even with 1% or 0% scream chance. Is there gonna be a fix for this issue? if not I plan on not using this mod anymore.

I assume the Dying Light Volatile is a form of crawler zombie? So if I use a mod that naturally spawns crawlers, will those zombies end up being Volatiles?

You're sending command from server to client, yet you're check if sync command is received on the server again

@Cinquieme i think you have a mod thats conflicting, if you have other zombie mods that can add in new zombies or mess with zombie ai, that is probably messing with it, as in my own testing im running around luisville, and even summoned a helicopter to pull in as many zombies as i can, and i dont see a single day Volatile
