A small warning for any Tomb King who wants to build fancy Pyramid: Get rid of Tzeentch factions, they made one joke that i didn't find it as funny... They gave my under construct pyramid to the Skaven. And they love targeting the pyramids, since those towns are valuable targets that belong to the player...

Dang, doesn't work with tier 5 minor settlements, it just makes the minor settlements with pyramids have a max level of 1, which is very weird. Is there no way to keep it just as a separate building without affecting the main settlement building chain?

We're removing population requirements in the next push (which will incoming soon). It's very flaky as a system when it come to foreign settlements unfortunately, so we'll be replacing with something simpler, more familiar and yet tied innately to the Tomb Kings economy.

Bugfix Update: Building Level 4 of Obelisk of Tutankhanut will no longer after you end turn delete the entire Pyramid. Which was a bit of an issue.

I do play using SFO so i can't say my strat will work in vanilla but Skarbrand gives around 5000 gold after every battle and can be easily ambushed.
Only negative that really affects the campaign would be the IMMENSE relations decreases making it difficult to have any kind of alliance after building a pyramid.
Not that you'll need friends when you can use their organs for shiny items.

Vassals are actually pretty easy to gain, take an enemy capital then sell it back during the war for vassalage.
And tomb kings don't have a big need for a constant flow of income, after i read the guide it made alot of sense for pyramids to literally cripple your economy.
Fully agree that it takes alot of time to build but it does give me a reason to actually play above round 100.
For example, i managed to build the Bagar royal chamber and i can basically use tier 1 units to deal with blood knights.
My economy was extremely limited while building it up but post battle income makes it fully possible.

Cool idea but its extremly expensive, takes forever to build and on T1 you loose everythink
You spend 44000 to have: -125% Income from all building (factionwide)
-70% research
Construction cost +50% for advanced military building (factionwide)
Construction time +4 for province Capital/Settlement buildings (factionwide)
Winds of magic power reserve capacity -40
You cant stop building or you will completly ruin your economy, you spend 616000 you are not in loss, only think you get for economy is 200% income from vassals, but when do you get vassals as tomb king?
The bonuses from are not that good to be worth it

Looks like it's not possible to use growth surplus while building making it impossible to upgrade above dormant buildings other than the main obelisks.
But hey, atleast the factionwide income reduction works so it atleast shows it can work
