Your continued work with this mod is much-appreciated, but regarding psi-ops, did you remove the ability “Domination” completely? It’s not showing up on the skill tree.

Yes, many bio items such as gas/acid grenades have been moved to bio division related R&D projects. Depending on when you build the R&D building, it can be built early since it does have 2 scientist slots when upgraded.

As mentioned in the comment below, have some early-game researches like the Bio-Soldier Dissection been moved to facility-based research in Mod Jam+ Refinements? I couldn't use early-game equipment like gas grenades.

Many of these autopsies have moved to the R&D building and not Research, simply because there's just so much stuff.

I have an odd problem: I don't have access to Bio Division and Frost legion goons as well as Flame Viper autopsies despite having their corpses. Any idea on how to fix that?

Ted Jam expects it as meld is used for gene mods, mec troopers, and other things.

yes, that is correct. They will need to gain XP to get to the next rank, and once they have that XP, they will be able to go back into psi training.

@Tedster Alright, thanks, that's good to know. However, I'm still not sure it's working quite right.
I selected a Rookie from the drop-down in the Psi Lab and completed training, no problem. My new Initiate starts with Soulfire and Earth Heal active, but Corpore Sano is greyed-out. She also starts with Insanity and Mind Merge from the Acolyte level active. Is this normal?

Justice is a skirmisher skill with the Ripjack, I don't know how you have it on other classes.

@Savion and Aiolia - Psi Ops promote using the psi training staff slots still, the promotion screen is there for xcom row and pistol perks only.

Psi-Op isn't working right for me either. Only first two of the three skills selected at Initiate, and level-up doesn't give any options.

Was the "justice" skill nerfed when equipped with shinobi, hellion or any unit that has melee weapons? Notice that they all do 4 dmg rather than the melee dmg they have. Even the hellion only does 1 attack with just 4 dmg when using it. Dont know if it intentional or not since I switched from modjam since it doesnt have that issue.

Hello. I would like to use the "Extract Corpses WOTC" but I'm not sure of it is compatible with Ted Jam and LWOTC. It does not appear in the "Tedster's Mod Jam collection", so I wonder whether it is safe to use it.
I understand that one needs to load the list of LWOTC ennemies, but is there anything else to be aware of ?

The original Mod Jam always crashed my PC loading into missions, this one does not.
I can now use some of the great alien mods with lwotc, Thanks.

The alien defectors mod, adds a bunch of memey and useless xcom archives entry's. is there a way for ted jam to hide them?

Hm yeah I guess it didn't register to me at the time, well it answers if this needs to be updated. I took a peek into the changelog for LWotC and I suppose some of the changes made were already seen if you played modjam?

Also I like the changes made to the grenadier and I guess I was hoping/asking if this would overwrite that or not, I dunno.

The new update for LWOTC just dropped and I was wondering if I could play the base mod and not the experimental with this mod jam instead?

@Dnhydra777: I believe the experimental is necessary. But LWotC's big update in December will roll up the Experimental stuff into the OG mod, so it's gonna be moot in like a month. Just use the Experimental version for now would be my recommendation, as it at least is known to work right.

Rocket launchers grant the Fire Rocket ability that uses the Technical's Gauntlet rocket damage value (2-5) instead of the one in ...\Rocket Launchers\XComRocketLaunchers.ini (4-7). The values in the file aren't ever used. However, the rocket items work as expected.

@Latis, if you're not using the Meld For Long War of the Chosen mod along with Ted Jam, this can cause your issue. At least it did in my case.

@Latis. I have the same issue, but I don't think it's ModJam/TedJam related. I had this problem even before those mods. I use console commands to give me randomly some Suppies/AA/ED based on the number of crates obtained.

In that kind of mission, on left-top of the screen I have a doubled crate counter line but only one (the upper) changes its values with the extraction going on, while the other (the lower) is fixed to 0-12-0 values.

It’s like if, at the end, the game takes on count the second line values (0 crates extracted) instead of the first line real counters values.

How many mods do you play with? I think there is something conflicting, but I still cannot say what is it.

Hi, i'm playing LWOTC with Mod Jam (Using Ted Jam right now).

Every time i do a Supply crate extract mission i don't get any reward at the end, only xp for my soldiers.

Switched to experimental highlander and Experimental Long war but that didn't solve the problem either.
Other missions like smash n' grab works properly

Dont want to bother you with details but my LWotC play includes Old War veterans that supposedly already have Psi abilities while being a LW class, i.e. Psi Assault. Anyway, again thank you for all your effort in the Long War modding.

@SuperDigga - I get that, right now it's coming from a practical standpoint as easier to balance, so with Psi Overhaul V3, since for people to want to use psi, it needs to be worth spending your actions on said psi stuff over whatever the unit normally does, meaning you either get supersoldiers, or the psi isn't worth doing because there's no reason to use it over the other things the soldier does, or you just end up with the cookie cutter state of Mod Jam psi, where people just take Phase Walk / Fortress / utility stuff that is good on every class.

I really believe Psi Overhaul V3 is the OG way to handle Psi, Enemy Within style. A dedicated Psi Operative is not my preference nor it fits my narrative. But its your mod so you make the rules.

I wanted to ask if Adaptive Bone Marrow Gene Mod recovery times are to be utilized in your Ted Jam

Hey Tedster, there's a cooked version of Claus' Pathfinder cosmetics by Max that's about 50 MB smaller in filesize than the original that's in your Ted Jam+ list. There's no harm in using that one instead, right? Thanks for all your hard work!

That's a mod with a bad "CanAddItemToInventory" function, your Dragoon actually has multiple primary weapons equipped right now, thus the multiple shoot/overwatch buttons. You'll want to use the "Strip Barracks" button to empty them out.

Not sure where this is coming from but I have a Dragoon who has multiple shoot and overwatch buttons. Also probably related, whenever I try to swap their weapon before a mission it will "eat" it and remain on the vanilla cannon
