Hello. I personally haven't faced this issue at all. Are you B41 or B42? Is this an issue you face regularly? Normally, human meat is not poisonous at all. Zombie meat is poisonous unless the poison setting is disabled, and if any are eaten raw, regardless of settings, you'll deal with vanilla sickness system

Hey @Arenameth.

It's not letting me use the meats as an ingredient for the soups.

I can cook human and zombie meat, but it's not letting me use it as an ingredient.

Is there a someting I have to do or enable to be a culinary degenerate?

For some reason, this mod threw a few errors as I transferred a few cans of soda into a sports drink bottle. The liquid appears to have transferred just fine(though I haven't drank any yet). No idea why THIS mod specifically threw the errors.

Hello, Arendameth

I recently installed the mod and changed the sandbox option
by removing the "poisonous" option and the following values.

However, when consuming the "meat," the sickness starts to accumulate slowly.

I changed the advanced options to 0, but even so,
sickness is added when eating. I tried cooking the meat, but it didn't work.

Is there any way to add an option to cancel the sickness rate when eating?

I want to try making a game eating only zombie meat :D

Looks like if you use Mod Load Order Sorter it will auto-sort this mod to a position that breaks it. Not sure what mod it is conflicting with, but i found that if you set this mod to load directly after "Moodle framework" then it seems to work. I get a bunch of the below errors when i chop a corpse though.

No, unfortunately there's no way to set up individual fluid types, only the item type itself. You can search the item on the wiki, simply google, for example "project zomboid acorn". Open the first result, and on the right, under Technical section, you'll see item ID. You can also start the game in debug mode and open item spawner to see item IDs.

Also, I have to be honest, I am not sure if this is compatible with drinkable items. It works by editing an item parameter called "OnEat", so I am not sure if drinkable items take this parameter

Yes, because you are activating a script that deletes the corpse and gives you meat and bones, not reading/knowing/caring what items the corpse had on it. If you want the stuff a corpse has, LOOT it before carving it.

If you butcher a player corpse all of his items will straight up despawn. Lovely.

Thanks much. I can play easily knowing there’s no jumpscares.

As for the answer to my second question, is it possible to include the full type of a liquid (i.e. Pop from the can), or is that not how the sandbox menu works? I know how to access Sandbox settings, but it’s typing in the full item ID of the item where I’ve hit a wall.

Also, as a small suggestion, there should be a cannibal trait, which would remove the unhappiness status effect from eating the meat. It shouldn't remove insanity, of course, just the unhappiness.

I did that! Upon starting the new playthrough the mod appeared to be functioning. After that, I tried restarting again, now with all of my mods installed, and everything continued working.
It appears to be spawned by loading the mod into pre-existing saves.

Hello. The mod doesn't have any kind of jumpscares. It doesn't have any flashing either. All insanity sounds fade in, rather than starting abruptly.

You can adjust the Candy Items sandbox option to change which items count as candy. You'll need to include the item's full type. You can find an item's full type through either using Debug Mode, or searching the item on the zomboid wiki. It'll look something like "Base.Acorn" for example.

Hi, I'm also getting the same issue, there's no option to butcher corpses. I'm playing B41, with, I believe, the correct Moodle Framework Version installed. I'm playing on a save that was made before installing the mod- and, if it helps, my character doesn't have a belt. I'm not sure if that will actually help, but bugs are often tied to small assumptions like that, so I figure I'd add it anyway.

Hey, I just wanted to check real quick: are any of the hallucinations jumpscares? Like, are they sudden ear-splittingly-loud screams, or things flashing on my screen?

Also, how do I make it in the Sandbox Options that the different varieties of Pop count as "Candy" for restoring Sanity?

Not sure why its not working for me then. Im on B42, I have just the one Moodle Framework and this mod (as well as a bunch of others). I have browsed through my console.txt and I do not see any glaring errors or anything anywhere. I just dont get any options to cut up a corpse, ive tried with kitchen knife, pairing knife, hatchet... I also tried unsubbing/resubbing to this and moodle to refresh it all and still nothing.

If you're playing on B42, uninstall the Moodle Framework version with the "B41" tag in its name

Btw, you can finally create Stew with Zombie and Human meat now! Regarding compatibility with the mods Bandits and week one, I've reached out to the developer to check if there's a way to make both mods compatible. I'll update this one as soon as I find a way :)

The mod definitely works in B42. If it doesn't for you, you're probably using the wrong version of Moodle Framework. I've added it to the steam's page

More traits had something similar, and I've never forgotten watching my TM eat his own character.

Build 42 doesn't work in build 42. It's unstable, and prone to breakages. How about you specify HOW it doesn't work, so the the dev know what the hell they're supposed to look for. Saying it doesn't work AND NOTHING ELSE, helps no one.

Hey, i just got it to work a few days ago, but now sudently it stopped working, i do not get any error, i simply cant butcher corpses, the option is not there, no matter how many tools i try with

Moodle framework should be updated to b42, update it. Don't try to play a mod in a version it's not updated for, especially with how much of the game is changed in b42.

How do you get this to work? I do not have any options to butcher a corpse when I right click no matter what tool I have equipped. Also, these errors are being thrown in my console.txt
