Would it be possible to make the Tank Camera Module be able to change the distance lines based on muzzle velocity with a number value or something like that?

can someone help me how to use camera remotly? I connect driver seat to remote controller(transfer mode) and receiving end to camera and nothing happens. I painted everything in the same color. I know there is the way because in desc. of remote controller and camera module says that it can be used remotly:(

I'm very grateful for the mod update and for adding the much-needed tank tracks. However, there's an issue: after the August 6 update, I can no longer spawn as many vehicles as I could after the bug fix on August 5. I kindly ask if you could please release the tank tracks from the August 5 version as a separate mod. The tracks are genuinely awesome, but the lag makes it impossible to run the large-scale battles I usually host in Scrap Mechanic.
I've attached a video below as proof of the lag:

Laser guidance is complete crap. It doesn't work at all. I can't figure out how it aims, flies, or is controlled. I aim at one point, it doesn't reach it, flies over, or can even fly off in another direction. In general, it's absolutely unusable trash

@Mrohoj At the moment, our mod and the modpack aren’t designed for extensive compatibility, so this feature isn’t supported.

@birdpaw Currently, the mod doesn’t have this feature. However, you can use light orange (peach) or dark orange (brown) signals to increase or decrease the gearbox’s power/gear ratio by 15%.

Thanks for the info! My stress test was based purely on spawning a large number of tanks. Yesterday, right after the update and before any bug fixes, I could spawn 3–4 tanks before lag set in (a constant 60 FPS, but drops to 30–40 FPS every 5 seconds while moving the character). After the first bug fix, I managed to place 14 tanks, but today I’m starting to experience frame drops again with just 9 tanks.

A simplified mode may be added later. When enabled, it will sacrifice visual quality to improve performance, but I’m not sure yet how much of a performance boost it will actually provide.

In my benchmark and stress test save, I have 6 tanks, each with 4 tracks, continuously moving. In version v4.1.0, the average FPS was 22, while in v4.1.0 Hotfix-3, the average FPS increased to 34. With only one tank, the average FPS went up from 130–150 to 180–190. So, theoretically, the newer hotfix version should be smoother.

Could you describe your testing scenario in more detail? Were the tanks moving? If the tanks are stationary, the track algorithm will pause calculations, which increases FPS.

If, after strict testing, you still feel that the FPS has dropped, would you mind sharing your save file with us for testing?

Hi, I'm very grateful for the mod update and for adding the much-needed tank tracks. However, I feel that today's August 6th update has worsened the track optimization. Yesterday's bug fix allowed spawning up to 14 tanks with tracks without issues, but now lag starts appearing with just 8–9 tanks. Could you please improve the track optimization further?

Sorry, at the moment it seems that the development team doesn’t have the extra capacity to adapt mods for survival mode (including writing crafting recipes).

Then, it's really strange, I unsubscribed from the mod continuation then re-subscribed, then, I deleted the old map, and recreated the same one, AND THEN, creative mod appeared, even though I no longer subscribed to it.
So I searched for it in the files and deleted it (again), and after that it worked just like for you.

It's crazy that the game seems to decide by itself (and in secret) to install stuff you don't want....

I recall that last time, I had already manually removed the creative mod,

I used the two files you provided to create a new world, utilized the mod list you offered, entered the world and took out your work. The v6 engine inside could be adjusted and set normally, and in the game -dev mode, the console did not output any error information about the engine. I'm also confused. I think you could try subscribing to the mod again?

Hello, it seems that the problem I'm talking about persists, it seems, that if the tile is built with the New legend mod, then the new v6 engine is replaced by the old model (not adjustable).
However, the old mod is uninstalled, so no conflict is possible, I don't know why, but maybe it would solve the problem to install the new motors in the old mod?

@dżdż I have explained similar issues before. The content is as follows:
Since the new and old versions of the mod are separate workshop files, and even opening new-version content with the older mod retains partial compatibility (making version mismatches not immediately obvious), it’s difficult to ensure the host is using the latest version in multiplayer sessions. The host might be running the older mod, and you’ve likely encountered this situation. If you’re certain this isn’t the case, I still need you to send me the samples via the two methods mentioned earlier for a detailed issue analysis.

Thrusters with no flame stopped working on my save, i have a plane that uses those and i cant even open the menu on E, but when i spawned an other project, (that i had the same problem with the thrusters on it and it fixed by replacing them) and the project works.

@Sem I think I now understand the issue you're describing - it appears to be a synchronization problem with the engine gear settings. Since initial gear synchronization during setup is complex, you'll need to manually reconfigure the V6/V8 parameters when necessary

@Sem i can't accurately understand what you mean,but please check if the map mod selection only enabled the "New Legend Mod Continuation". Avoid "New Legend Mod Continuation" and "New Legend Mod" being loaded in the game at the same time, both versions cannot be loaded in the same map at the same time

I don't understand why, on some maps, v6 is on the old creative version, although I've unsubscribed from the creative version, but it doesn't matter, even if I change the engine, it's the old one.
Do you know why?
