@Nixia I'm not sure, but considering this mod doesn't add anything not already in vanilla I don't think there'd be any issue.

It was updated to 1.6 too late to save two of my colonists this run, but I'm glad that future kidnappers will take better care of their kidnappees/bargaining assets. o_o7

@Tyrant I haven't had a chance to try 1.6 yet, so idk how balance has been changed. When I get back home I'll prob just update it either way.

@Farbott I honestly didn't notice it, but now that you mention it you're right! The hit decals haven't been placed correctly in my game for a while now. Unfortunately I haven't had access to my computer for a couple months now and won't for a few more weeks, but I'll def try to figure this out once I get back!

oh no im not saying this mod is causing it, just saw that the thumbnail had the exact same thing I had, but I cant figure it out everywhere im looking now has that same weird thing going on from picture to video, its AUGH, did a full clean and even vanilla was still doing it

@Farbott if a clean install didn't fix it maybe try moving the Rimworld data in your appdata folder somwhere else then relaunching. I'm not sure if or why this mod would cause that, so if you manage to fix it can you try launching with just this mod and see if it breaks again?

Its the way the wounds are placed, its all in static positions on their body, it wasn't like this before they used to get plastered everywhere and I'm mad because even after a full game wipe and clean install its happening

@Farbott I'm sorry I'm not sure I understand, are you having an issue in game? I don't really remember how I set up the picture, but I think I used dev mode damage until he looked sufficiently bloodied then I hit him with the "damage until downed".

just realized that the pawn on the icon has all the wounds at their summoned spots, was that intentional or just what happened when you got them set up for the picture please I am TWEAKING over trying to get it to stop happening I dont know what changed

I had wondered why I had never seen a kidnapped pawn turn up anywhere. Maybe now I'll be able to actually mount a rescue! Thanks.

I see. I didn't see how it worked on the wiki, good to know. Thanks for that, and for this mod. It's the kind of common sense balance mod that you would expect was made years ago, so it's earned its spot on my mod list.

@Grombulon When a world pawns is tended it basically calculates the quality as if a 5 medical skill pawn tended it with no medicine. The highest quality you can get is 47.5%. Unfortunately I can't just tweak the potency because then it would also affect whenever you tend a pawn without medicine. I might be able to change the default "Base Treatment Quality" (essentially increasing the default doctor skill), but idk for sure.

When a world pawn is tended, how does it determine the quality of the tend? I had a guy kidnapped who didn't bleed out but died to an infection anyways, and the tend quality when he died was low quality. This guy had the super immunity gene, too. I've seen that happen more than a few times and it makes me wonder. I didn't have this mod enabled at the time but I assume it doesn't make any tweaks other than the speed. If it's just a generic tend done arbitrarily could you just increase the potency of it, or does it decide based on the medical skill of one of the kidnappers?

@Darian Stephens The game already checks every tick whether each world pawn should be tended, all this mod does is make that check return 'yes' more often. Uninjured world pawns should get mothballed so it won't run the check on them and it won't cause a spike since pawns are tended at different ticks based on their pawn id.

It maybe could cause issues if there's suddenly a large number of injured world pawns (like maybe a large raid fleeing the map) but it should stabilize once all the injures are tended.

Would this reduce performance at all?
If the game's performing these calculations more often for every world pawn, it could, couldn't it?
Or, if it's all done at once for every pawn anyway, if there's any performance drop it would be a spike, and this would just make the spikes more common?
