what's not working?
With a random probability, at the beginning of a new wave, instead of a horde of zombies, a dozen bandits appear, divided into two classes:
Marauders — lightly armed scouts, begin to collect all items found at a safe point after the player is injured and attacks only upon receiving damage.
Killers — heavily armed fighters, they go first and purposefully after the players, if there is only one marader left, they will begin to protect him.
If only one class of bandits remains alive, then all of them escape and the wave ends.
