@HL2003, when do you think the power car will be done? I know you're probably working on other projects as well, so I don't want to bother you too much.

@LittleWalker_NL man you're racing with an airliner at that speed, more than hyperloop at that point 😭, take notes that it'll get some slight update change in maybe 1 or 2 days, the change is that it is going to have a steam turbine for auxiliary power generation, in which it's gonna be 100% SRC approval, trust me the sound is amazing, while the auxiliary battery went back to where the old battery storage of the 2024 version is at

@avikdass well if you want to control the locomotive you're in, firstly you gotta press request master in order to control (it'll also make other trains that use SRC's TCP MU as Slave), secondly turn on "all system startup" it'll activate the whole system including the engine, third is to activate the traction motor control which is above your head in order to move, it will not allow you to move until the engine is at full power, when its clear you're good to go, that's all the basics of starting and running locomotive, the rest of the controls are described in there, you'll get use to it, until i make a manual, y'all shall know how to

@TuxedoLad1209 i do mention about it few months ago that i'll build a power car for the train, i'll strip apart the interior of the single floor passenger car and convert it into power car, most likely it'll have 2 engines, one for locomotive traction motors, and one for the train's electrical system, its gonna be very beneficial for diesel electric locomotive that uses TCP MU cus they don't have to consume diesel when running, basically they had a self sustain power plant at the back all the time

Is there any way you can make a power car version of this? like if I wanted to hook one up that would be flush with the main engine and would add extra power for the longer trains?

and also i got letter from ward's military command center about military conscription, high chance they'd likely to call me to join the army service for 2 years next year, if not i'll still stay in civilian life, so i'll try my best to finish the list above me before 2026

alright there is going to be another change in engine config, since the engine's electrical grid connect to main line, the generator needs to be separate one for electric motors and one for powering electrical system of the train it self and other cars to completely approve by the standard, if i add a medium gen with the same current engine config by taking 1/3 of its power, the locomotive gets weaker, so possibly i'll make a new smaller steam engine for alternator, or adding more piston to existing engine to produce more power so it can handle both gen, since there is a void space above motor No.2, i could move the aux battery to there to make room for engine extension.

I LOVE this train, but it's missing 2 things. 1 is a tanker for fluids. 2 is a hopper for minerals and rocket fuel, other then that i really like this.

@spurswhl well in this version is a new fresh of meat, startup prodcedure is different from the old version before i implant TCP MU module, i was suppose to make a new manual but since i'm having a job at a studio with less to no time for sw but taking a rest at playing something else, the controlers are explained in details so you gotta learn it by your self , you will get use to it :)

@MAX_131 R and L means Right or Left side of the passenger carriage relating to the direction of your master locomotive is facing at, you press R means it will open the doors at the right side, so as the L, it will open the left side, numbers slider from 1 to 6,7 etc... is range of the carriage you want to open the door depend on how many of it you carry, for the middle "open" button well... i don't see anything work on it but its just there, its a modified TCP passenger mc from Sharp tho

What is the function of the open on the tcp door screen? When i select R or L, the door will automatically open.

@cchewy ohh right the parking brakes, during the rework phase it use to have that when testing with tcp mc, it quite hard for me to understand how to node their composite without conflicting with its others function of the same channel at first, so i ditch it 😅, now i know how to let me add that function again, i'll update it again as soon as its done

also there is overhead control in which to engage electrical feed to the main traction motors, MU motor and railcars electrical feed that you should be aware of

@liasluca well i've planned the release of new ones and update on 26 of July, marking 1 year of its release, it takes a long time to carefully modify and test the whole sets to make sure everything works fine, the progress of entire thing is almost complete, this will be a major update for its 1 year birthday anniversary, so be prepare for that day to come! :)

@lfcrulz16 sure you can use my train's dashboard mc for your train, i appreciate when people interest on my train's system and design, i have thought of sharing my HSEL's engine, its main heart beat that i create to everyone who have interest on it and to install on marine vessels or other applications in its 1 year anniversary update next month, it is going to be a major update on entire branch and 2 new sets of cars, alliance with SRC's TCP system, with some design change, overall improvement on performance and efficiency, its max speed increases, lighter and cheaper than its current state in workshop as its now

locomotive max speed would get reduced back down from 470 to 460 km/h due to integration of TCP drivetrain, some other changes also comes a long like the removal of wireless
locomotive to locomotive control, to ground connected control (via coupling) in order to meet the standard, as long as there is composite passing through couplers

@DuskieS4 atm i have new carriage setups in line waiting to be release, it'll probably take around 1 or 2 months (1 year annivesary of hsel realease) cus rn the entire train set is under redevelop with SRC's TCP system, it'll also need to get tested by their staffs

@Noname to spawn it you just have to teleport the train hangar workbench that are all around the map, from there you can spawn trains on railroads
