"SOS2 Hull Pipes"

Yeah thanks dude, it's really hard to organize things around the gravship hulls not needing corners.
Cruel Moose  [author] Jul 14 @ 9:39am
@aef8234

That will be a seperate mod. I'm still playing around with odyssey so it may be a bit before I get to it (I'll probably be releasing a package of mods, specifically something to address a good way to handle dubs bad hygiene on a gravship).
aef8234 Jul 14 @ 6:12am
if/when you update it, can you also apply this to gravship hulls? Specially since gravship hulls do some weird things when there's no corner hull.
Nimn Jun 20 @ 10:43am
Didn't know that. I was using them when there had to be a patch for them to be combined. Thanks for the info. Now it's a good 10/10 for this
Cruel Moose  [author] Jun 20 @ 12:04am
@Nimn
Dub's Bad Hygiene already has SOS2 compatibility built in (enable it from Dub's Bad Hygiene). This mod also patches anything the compatibility patch misses.
Nimn Jun 19 @ 11:03pm
I'm surprised dubs bad hygiene isn't here. Still, gonna so use this. I'd recommend that added, otherwise looks good.
Cruel Moose  [author] May 3 @ 8:43pm
@Raptor No.
Raptor May 3 @ 11:05am
Does the load order matters for this mod?
Cruel Moose  [author] Apr 28 @ 10:43am
@ADMIOS Ah, yeah google translate wasn't very clear. Thank you for the heads up.
ADMIOS Apr 28 @ 6:01am
What I mean is that if you have already built a pipeline system in the hull before, adding this mod may cause some existing hulls to disappear due to pipeline conflicts. This is not your problem, your mod is great.
Cruel Moose  [author] Apr 25 @ 8:36pm
@ADMIOS I'm.......not sure what to say? Things getting stuck because of the existence of pipes if the mod is added halfway? Might need to call a plumber......

But seriously, all this mod does is patch existing pipe mods you have to SOS2 powered hull, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
ADMIOS Apr 25 @ 1:15pm
建议不要半途加入这个mod,会因为管道存在卡掉很多东西
ฅ⎛⎝Yummy π⎠⎞ฅ Apr 2 @ 10:30am
@Cruel Moose Didn't know that dubs has an option, I only checked SOS2 for the option, thank you
Cruel Moose  [author] Apr 2 @ 10:24am
@ฅ⎛⎝Yummy π⎠⎞ฅ Dubs Bad Hygiene is not on the list because it has SOS2 compatibility already if you enable it.

Unpowered Hull only has plumbing pipes, are you perhaps using unpowered hull instead of powered hull?
ฅ⎛⎝Yummy π⎠⎞ฅ Apr 2 @ 10:04am
Ok, so Docking Clamps have plumbing capabilities but nothing else, what am I missing here, I have all the dependencies, does Hygiene/SOS2 have to be loaded before something

Does this work with Dubs Bad Hygiene, I see its not on the list but some past comments say it does work?
Pasaway Mar 19 @ 10:42pm
@Cruel Moose: Mod works fine after starting a new game. I had added it to an existing save, which might have been an issue.
Pasaway Mar 17 @ 4:07am
@Cruel Moose: I am starting a new game and will eventually retest. Thank you.
Cruel Moose  [author] Mar 17 @ 3:57am
@Pasaway tested it with a few pipe networks and I had zero issues. Please be specific on which pipe networks are not working. It's more than likely a mod conflict on your end at this point.
Pasaway Mar 17 @ 3:38am
@Cruel Moose: I should clarify... the pipe network goes through the base block, but does not go through the extended walls. Only heat and power get transferred through those.
Cruel Moose  [author] Mar 16 @ 9:37pm
@Pasaway that feature is already in. Is there a specific pipe network that its not working with?
Pasaway Mar 16 @ 6:56pm
@Cruel Moose: Could you add this docking clamps also, that way pipes can transfer to other ships?
Mastersgt Mar 13 @ 7:08pm
sweet thank you :steamhappy:
Cruel Moose  [author] Mar 13 @ 6:02am
@Mastersgt make a local copy of the mod and delete the appropriate patch file.
Mastersgt Mar 13 @ 4:46am
Is there any way to disable the eccentric tech pipes?
While i liked the idea at first, the eccentric tech mod has a habit of absolutely having a fit with warnings and errors any time theres a battle and some of the walls get destroyed, making it constantly reinitialize their networks. It slows it down massively when it gets busy lol
Frostmaker411 Mar 4 @ 11:00am
update on my bug: i remove Vanilla Chemfuel Expanded - Unofficial Expansion and the bug is gone
Frostmaker411 Mar 4 @ 9:41am
hi i got a bug where the pipe are here put deconect from each other
kimmym420 Feb 28 @ 5:08am
Must have been something wrong in my huge modlist. It seems to be working now. Thanks!
Cruel Moose  [author] Feb 18 @ 11:45pm
@kimmym420 There should already be support? The mod itself has no pipe network, but it does have a patch to use the pipes from Dubs Bad Hygiene. If you have Dubs Bad Hygiene active, then my mod should already be adding sewage pipes to ship hulls.

Same deal with the Rimefellar pipes.

Any chance to get support for Spaceports? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3225120958

@jjmalyen glad your enjoying it :D

Very cool mod btw..... Many thanks:steamthumbsup:
jjmalyen Nov 28, 2024 @ 5:54am
aef8234 the whole page is literally filled with the author responding to comments.....?
aef8234 Nov 19, 2024 @ 1:22am
Oh it's fixed on my end too, weird.

I just don't think he responds to comments. I think I'm reading too much on it prolly.
Cruel Moose  [author] Nov 18, 2024 @ 9:57pm
@aef8234 Not sure what your talking about when it comes to plumbing and archotech vents, as when I tested it in-game they do have plumbing. Fixed the oversight of docking clamps and walls not having plumbing.

Also, what do you mean the author's been kinda quiet?
aef8234 Nov 18, 2024 @ 7:47pm
Can you also add dub's hygiene compatibility? I know that it already has one for almost all the pipes but docking clamps and archotech vents don't have it. the author's been kinda quiet too.
CTH2004 Aug 19, 2024 @ 6:41pm
Oh, it loads all xml, then loads all patches!

Neat!
Thanks :)
Cruel Moose  [author] Aug 14, 2024 @ 11:48am
@CTH2004 If it ain't broke don't fix it :D This from the wiki might help clarify (I'm by no means a modding expert):

Patching is run after all XML Defs are loaded into memory and in mod list order. If you are encountering compatibility issues with another mod's PatchOperations, you can use loadBefore and loadAfter in your About.xml to help players resolve these issues.

So the defs should already be dumped into a gigantic XML already.
CTH2004 Aug 14, 2024 @ 11:44am
Huh… weird, as everything I’ve seen seems to point to it editing already-acti e systems, so going bellow. Maybe because you aren’t really removeing things?

Guess I have another thing for my (long) list of modding questions!
Cruel Moose  [author] Aug 14, 2024 @ 11:29am
@CTH2004 Yes, its an XML patch. Its been working fine being loaded before SOS2.
CTH2004 Aug 14, 2024 @ 8:58am
Hmm… does this work through a patch though?

If so, wouldn’t it need to go bellow SoS2 and the mods it’s patching? Though I’m assuming you’d have put that in “load after” in the about file?
Cruel Moose  [author] Aug 13, 2024 @ 2:37pm
@James Stone neither, this is a list of supported mods
James Stone Aug 13, 2024 @ 9:13am
Question, is this supposed to be below or above everything in the mod list?
CTH2004 Aug 10, 2024 @ 6:34am
wow!
VelxraTV Aug 3, 2024 @ 11:23pm
another great update
[MaD] Aug 1, 2024 @ 2:47pm
Thank you!

I dont use CE either ^^
i use [LTS]Ammunition - Simple Ammo Pack with some self made recepies
Cruel Moose  [author] Aug 1, 2024 @ 1:42pm
@[MaD] Partial support added for Vanilla Chemfuel Expanded - Unofficial Expansion. Not willing to test or mess with any CE related stuff (theres 2 pipe networks in that mod that rely on CE).

As far as messing with Cross Dimensional Pipes, thats outside of my skillset atm. Sorry.
[MaD] Aug 1, 2024 @ 12:11pm
If you could have a look at reviving and integrating Cross Dimensional Pipes
with some exorbitant power cost or exotic particles mayhaps for balance, i would be very happy.

(is there a way to send a financial token of gratitude your way? Ko-fi maybe?)
Cruel Moose  [author] Aug 1, 2024 @ 11:37am
@[MaD] I'll look into it.
[MaD] Aug 1, 2024 @ 11:34am
Please add support for Vanilla Chemfuel Expanded - Unofficial Expansion

The toxic waste pipes have become an integral part in my playstyle ^^

The Neutroamine pipes in there are redundant if Androids are installed but its not a incompatability.

The Paint pipes are a nice, but unless we can get a paint sprinkler (auto paint stuff in range) or the ability to use piped stuff driectly in crafting benches its just a gimic.
