can't wait to download your next character mod.
I look forward to your next mods. Have fun modding and good luck!
life_time: .alive_round_limit 2 .does_check_for_loot false
The modder uses several code lines that are not found in the "List of All Effects" guide, which they seemed to have also written. And, forgive me if you know a better method, but if you need to quickfire test boss battles consider the "Arena Bosses" mod.
I saw your comment on Sorting Helmet's YouTube post. I have played around with summons in a few of my mods. I learned from studying the Acolyte of Sun mod. I took a look at your monster files. Here are several "battle_modifiers" that may help:
battle_modifier: .is_valid_friendly_target False .can_be_guarded False .can_be_summon_rank True .does_count_as_monster_size_for_monster_brain False .does_count_as_guardable_for_monster_brain False
I have not tested this in the Shambler fight, where Sorting ran into his issue; however, I have tested this in other fights, such as the Bone Bearer. When the Bearer "revived" his teammate he dismissed the summon from my mod. I hope this helps.
I kind of hoped he had a unique gimmick going on with his stress of affliction but as far as I see he's pretty standard in that account, with a number of his trinkets really ramping up the harsh stress gains. Unless I am mistaken.
His move-skill Riposte is really good though. I just really wish his first three skills were as interesting as Mix Mix Mix, Set That Funk on Fire and What Could This Be.
My boy has potential and I hope this inspires a second look over his kit. :) Thanks for bringing Faust to the Darkest Dungeon. I enjoy grinning at his skills and animation.
(3/2) [Stupid Steam Limit lol]
Mix Mix Mix and His move-skill Riposte are pretty much his best skills to use. What Could This be also has good use but really could use a bump in skill chances for the additional effects or at least do a little more damage to be relevant. Its reach and targeting save it from being too terrible.
Hook, Line and Hole in One are the three skills that really get a second pass, they're not that strong and feel pretty underwhelming compared to the rest of his kit. His Camp Skills on the other hand are not bad and I kinda like them. They do good. His animations and feel in the DD is really well done, he's really just held a little back by his moves needing a bit of a second balance pass in my humble opinion.
(2/2?)
Hook and Line could use a Accuracy boost in all honestly, the buffs they give really don't make using them too compelling, Hole in One could even get a damage increase.
Of the three skills, Line is probably the most useful due to the Pull but the move chance buff from Hook is largely irrelevant and not enough to really justify comboing any of his three skills together.
Set That Funk on Fire is not terrible for damage but honest I would just unironically just make it a flat heal for each corpse clear/consumed for the heal. It really should just let him heal for a greater amount than .5% lol.
