@bspawn i would recommend joining the stationeers modding discord server for help with installation https://discord.gg/5qZbPVTw2U

I'm at best unsure that the mod is loading and working. If anything the effect is very subtle.
There does not seem to be a "loading window at the bottom when the game first opens" which i would need to "reorder or enable/disable mods", as mentioned on the StationeersLaunchPad github page.
I downloaded BepInEx via the StationeersLaunchPad github page and installed it. Subscribed to SEGI and StationeersLaunchPad via this Steam workshop page, StationeersLibrary.dll and SEGI.dll are in subfolders in the Steam workshop folder.

Hello all! if you are reading this StationeersMods has been officially DISCONTINUED, all future mod updates will occur on a new framework called StationeersLaunchPad, github link and more info in description

Wow that was fast! Thanks so much. I am excited to see how this looks in-game.

@Annastasya its because have the project source in my Z:\ drive and i compile the mods with debug info because its so much easier to fix things that way, and i have found the problem ill publish the fix now

Images look great but sadly it throws errors. Seems to be trying to check itself and update but it is encoded to look in a local Z: drive that doesn't exist.

um... that github is dead and all the mods that are created by you that want to do version checks are dumping errors into the log file.

Your dll version update removed exception from console, but i do not see mod working.
Also does it have any config menu like old one had ? F11 if i remember correctly (F11 doesn't work for me with this version)

I see excepltion in my terminal. Tried both workshop and direct dll

Unfortunately, nothing changed on my end.

I tried the updated workshop mod, I tried using the standalone DLL, and I also tried the alternative method of configuring BepInEx for StationeersMods. Still, I see no visual difference ingame, and my FPS is unaffected. I have a 3060 TI, which generally runs the game at 130-160 FPS (if not vsync) at maximum settings. So it's not like I'm trying to run this on a potato from ten years ago that has no business attempting global illumination =P

Is there any debug output or the like that I could provide?
Vinus  [author] Jul 4, 2024 @ 10:51am
@Omicron that bug should be fixed.

I just subscribed to this and started the game, to no effect. FPS is the same it was before, visual look of the game is the same it was before.

I have BepInEx and the StationeersMods framework installed. They work, because I am successfully using the RenderDistance mod. Also tried disabling that mod just in case there's an incompatibility, but even with SEGI being the only mod loaded, it seems to do nothing at all.

According to the BepInEx logfile, SEGI loads successfully at startup. I just can't tell ingame if it's there or not.

Are there any settings I need to change to activate it first? I looked through the settings menu but couldn't find anything. There's no readme file or description on the repository either.

It is add colored reflections for light scattering and less pitch black shadows?
Vinus  [author] Jul 3, 2024 @ 6:27pm
Not sure, I would assume you would need something pretty beefy to run it, you can play around with the config settings to make it less resource intensive if needed.

So makes things prettier?

How heavy a graphics rig should I have for this?
