Report a translation problem
After checking over system I think i figured out what the issue is, it seems the 3 Fluid Hose anchors on each side were not actually connected to the pipes, but to the slope blocks below them and the corner pipe blocks that are meant to attach to them instead attach to bottom of the fill display.
All i needed to do to fix it was to reconnect the pipes correctly on both sides. It seems now i can fill the tank and drain it on the respective sides (albeit draining is slow, probably why it has 3 ports xD). Now to try and fly this thing while full! Thanks lair1134 for creating this interesting craft, only had it explode once on us so far while learning to fly, haha.
bonus, I now also learnt how custom fuel systems work (probably).
