i think it should stay. these are really unique models that there are no other of in the game. why would you make your own models when a 7 year old game has far better quality ones? besides, the game is abandoned anyways, if you ask the developers, im sure they would be ok with it. also there are other ones like this that people really seem to enjoy. if any moderators are reading this, please dont take it down.

Gmod applying this policy in their workshop already but they've been on market for longer and it's easier for them to let some stuff slip until someone like Nintendo makes a scene. The issue is that this model is from commercial product which is relatively new and is still selling.
Normally if it is just a model made by someone else it will be fine as long as author is credited if possible and they have no issues with it or at least do not forbid it specifically or model is actually bought by poster.

That is unfortunate. I understand someone else made the model, but its not like the model is being sold. Are the game devs forced to do this? If Gmod had to apply this policy on the work shop that would be nuts.

I mean this specific game workshop. Admins go thru it from time to time and remove ripped content.

Where does it say that? And if so quite a few good mods would have to get removed. I downloaded a mod that has a grain silo ripped from Stalker. Would suck to have that get removed and screw up my save. And when you say this workshop you mean this games workshop itself? Is it the same for city skylines?

Models ripped from other games are forbidden in this workshop.
