Spoilers for those that want to find out in game for themselves.
In this new update there are now two paths in the demon form you can take:

1) The first form is the standard "evil/dark" demon form which is done by consuming the blood vials in this order: Demon Blood-> Muzan's Blood -> Lower Moon -> Upper Moon -> Demon King -> Xalgoth's Blood.

2) and then there's the path of the "freed/light" demon form which is obtained by consuming the blood vials in this order: Demon Blood -> Muzan's Blood -> Lower Moon -> Free Demon -> Sun Elixir.

unlike the "Dark" demon path, the "light/free" demon form can be cleared at any time with the standard Anti-Kibutsuji drug while the "dark" path which starts at upper moon can only be cleared by using the Anti-Xalgoth drug.

i would love to, but i do not have it. this port was much more difficult because we didn't have it.

just to be clear, its the left click shadowflame orb kills you, the right click shadowflame beam/tentacle still attacks as it should

the cursed flame sword doesnt work and just kills you on use

Hi, are you the one developing the mod? I see your quite lacking in the sprite department. A lot of the sprites seem lazy or rushed, so if you wanna chat I'd be happy to actually help you with that.
(also please add blood demon arts, not just Kokushibo)

the boss is post moonlord and can only be summoned in space. i'm also fixing the sun potion to make the demon player immune to the sun.

i dont know if its only happening to me but i cannot use the sun potion to overcome the sun and also the boss of this mod doesnt spawn when i use its item for some reason

um the flame guy despawn on me how do i fix it.

xalgoth isnt showing up in the boss checklist

of course, i currently am running it with several large mods such as calamity, thorium and the various Fargo's soul and dlc mods. in fact, my current setup is using, roughly, 80 mods or so. big and small.

is the mod compatible on other mods like on calamity or fargos?

okay, everything should be good now. accessories won't make you move like sonic and you should be able to read the tooltips again! hopefully i'll get the sun elixir issue fixed some time real soon.

yes, my system had an issue during my last update. i'm working on this as we speak.

correction, all items lost their body text, they only have the names now

the text on the demon buff is screwed up and the weapons are no longer showing the weapon abilities when i hover over them in my inventory

are you sure certain of that? the lily supposed to be dropped by the boss Xalgoth.

also, i fully understand that the sun elixir doesn't work. that is something i have been working on as well as stomping out the bugs that keep rearing their ugly heads. its like a wack-a-mole over here lol.

sun elixir doesn't work, yes, I got it with cheat since lily is not possible to get

after some more testing this seems to also happen with the Rengoku and Kamado slayer marks

I crafted the Tsugikini slayer mark and started moving at 780+ mph so I installed a flat world, made a new character and disabled all mods (except this one) and still was moving at an insane speed and timed myself going from one side of a large world to the other in 20 seconds. The accessory says it only gives a 35% movement speed increase so please help

okay, the multiplayer bug should be stomped. keep me informed should anything else seems out of place.

As far as I know, the official discord was shut down some time ago. a shame, too. also, the npc is supposed to spawn after skeletron is defeated AND if you have an empty house for him to move into.

I'm the very very first original developer of this mod and I really appreciate you porting it to 1.4 and updating it! Seriously awesome and im so glad to see the community picking something up that i dropped so long ago at the release of 1.4 tmodloader, so proud of you all lol.

sorry if that was weird but if you wanna chat about it i did unfortunately lose the laptop i had everything on when it was cancelled, but i did notice some things like the demon blood arts i had implemented that aren't in the mod currently probably due to being removed earlier or removal due to incompatibility. if you used the demon king's blood and got its power, you should be able to use Xalgoth's blood at any time.

i've spent the last few minutes double and triple checking to make sure i had the right order.

ok aslo when are we supose to use xalgoths blood cause i got demon king but i cant use it?

right now the only plans are to stomp out any bugs found.

i would LOVE to add more content to make this mod just that much better, but i would need to learn a LOT more C# AND actually watch the series and read the manga.

BUT the original mod maker put this mod up for anyone to modify and add to, and i see no reason to change that either.

if you know anyone who's both familiar with the source AND knows C# they have full permission to take this mod and do what they wish with it.

I've ran into something similar before. i'm not 100% sure, but i believe that the demon blood is a series of upgrades that you have to go in order. starting with the Demon blood, and then going 'Muzan's' blood, lower moon, upper moon, Demon King's blood and Xalgoth's blood


there are two drugs that can return you to human, should the need arises, Anti-Kibutsuji drug which only clears the Demon blood, Muzan's blood and lower moon forms. while the Anti-Xalgoth drug works on all the forms.

the sun elixir is supposed to make you immune to the buring from the sun as a demon, but that is something i'm gonna have to work on.

hey i got a bug where im stuck on demon blood and cant get the lower moon demon blood effect

that was actually the most recent bug i fixed, in the patch notes:

-Blue Spider Lily now drops from the Boss "Xalgoth"
