i'll just copy here the two different paths.

1) The first form is the standard "evil/dark" demon form which is done by consuming the blood vials in this order: Demon Blood ~> Muzan's Blood ~> Lower Moon ~> Upper Moon ~> Demon King ~> Xalgoth's Blood.

2) and then there's the path of the "Free/Light" demon form which is obtained by consuming the blood vials in this order: Demon Blood ~> Muzan's Blood ~> Lower Moon ~> Free Demon ~> Sun Elixir

Unlike the "Dark" demon path, the "Free/Light" demon form can be cleared at any time with the standard Anti-Kibutsuji drug while the "Dark" path which starts at upper moon can only be cleared by using the Anti-Xalgoth drug.

don't forget there are also two different types of "sun screens" which prevents you from burning in the sun, the only difference between the two are the duration they last. having a recipe browser of some sort will be useful for this.

Blue Spider Lily drops from the Boss "Xalgoth" xalgoth's summoning item is called "The Crest of Destruction" and is crafted using a Celestial Sigil at an ancient manipulator. the crest is used in space, so you'll need an arena up there.

they're all crafted using various materials, and several that are bought from the mod npc. if you have a recipe browser, or even magic storage mod, it would make things much easier.

its a port of the original, yes, with a few minor (and a couple of major) bugfixes and tweaks to get it working in an acceptable manor.

I've noticed that dying reapplies Xalgoth buff, same when right clicking it, immediately comes back. I don't want to farm more life crystals and anti xalgoth vials but perhaps free will and sun elixir is gone when your character dies?

there is no time limit on the form itself, but the buff icon CAN be clicked and the form removed that way. as well as the anti demon vials can remove it.

I have not been able to reproduce the bug, but i will keep looking.

I farmed 1111 life crystals with water candle/chaos candle/zerg potion and battle potion during blood moon at Aether biome which spawns a lot of ruby and diamond crawlers (calamity) and finally got and used the Sun Elixir aaand I lost my demon buff again... either it's on like 30 mins time limit or something bugs it. I lost it somewhere between checking crafting stuff with the guide and using Shell phone to teleport to the sulphurous ocean, which is when I noticed I'm not demon anymore. Back to Xalgoth Demon God I guess.

just an addendum: the freed demon will still burn in the sun without sun screen. the sun elixir, the final vial in the "light demon" chain makes you immune to the sun.

that does not sound right at all, thank you for bringing this to me. I'ma just hop into game and see if i can recreate this bug.

I'm playing on Calamity and I farmed up the freed demon vial, then I used a Calamity item to turn the night into day to test if I still burn without sunscreen and the whole demon buff disappeared forever, I had to farm 111 life crystals to get back to lower moon again.

just to be clear, its the left click shadowflame orb kills you, the right click shadowflame beam/tentacle still attacks as it should

Hi, are you the one developing the mod? I see your quite lacking in the sprite department. A lot of the sprites seem lazy or rushed, so if you wanna chat I'd be happy to actually help you with that.

the boss is post moonlord and can only be summoned in space. i'm also fixing the sun potion to make the demon player immune to the sun.

i dont know if its only happening to me but i cannot use the sun potion to overcome the sun and also the boss of this mod doesnt spawn when i use its item for some reason

um the flame guy despawn on me how do i fix it.

of course, i currently am running it with several large mods such as calamity, thorium and the various Fargo's soul and dlc mods. in fact, my current setup is using, roughly, 80 mods or so. big and small.

is the mod compatible on other mods like on calamity or fargos?

okay, everything should be good now. accessories won't make you move like sonic and you should be able to read the tooltips again! hopefully i'll get the sun elixir issue fixed some time real soon.
