yup, any reason for why they keep adding these small regions to the planet? its not like the planet isnt large already, would rather have them add the possibility of forming space nations.

Also if you guys know how to work with the files then you can probably just add the new regions to this mod and it should probably work.

Yeah, the way nations got redistributed messes with this mod. It still runs and you can still unlock all the tech, but the UN doesn't show up.

Terra Invicta got updated today to 1.0 with more nations added... not sure if this mod will work but you folks can test it out if you want

As for my I'm play with no mods to see the new features

not sure what the bug was.... but was able to get it to work after deleting the mod from the game folder and reinstalling/subscribing. I also reinstalled the game.

That should not be an issue, did you send your councilor to "set national policy" action? and from there use the option to "release nation" or "cede territory"? Works here, so if it doesnt for you then it must be bugged or some other mod conflicting.

Also did you make sure that you have consolidated power over the nation?

I see the UN claim on NY but i can't find an option to release NY. I already control all of North and Central America. I already researched the technology but the project for UNE has not unlocked. I am stuck unsure of what to do.

Thanks for the info Velrix and Eins, I was wondering what happens if you remove the RNE nation requirement from the project file, does that make it so we can release it from any nation like Geneva or Singapore?

Like @Eins said, you need to release UNE to unlock the project.

Also like @Joedain added if you want to claim yuzhno-sakhalinsk.

Inside steamapps common TerraInvicta mods enabled PlanetaryUnity; TIBilateralTemplate.json

You need to have this at the end.

For me the mod seems to work mostly, except for the not-fixed capital stated in the mod description. I was only able to found the UNE by taking over the USA and releasing it from there.

Isnt cohesion becomes an issue if half the planet is united? I think there was a modifier that reduced cohesion based on amount of regions. Or was that nerfed?

Hope this gets updated, I like the idea of this for Stellaris fixation reasons. I can't release the UNE due to the undefined capital.

if playing in Experimental the Value being 2518 doesnt work and insta crashes but value of 2814 seems to work

im assuming this means you could change the capital to be anywhere you want in the world, you just need to dig around in your save file and figure out the regions value of the region you want. just make sure to update the original capital AND the claim, else you will get the crash again

if anyone else is having the crash issue after kenken244's steps, it seems like in the last update the region values changed. you should now set the original capital to:

this worked for me. seems like what was causing the crash was that by default the UN only has a claim on 2518 (new york), and not 2814 (which is north macedonia as of the latest update)

I can confirm the mod does not seem to be working. If this can be updated/fixed it would be great as forming the UNE would give me another reason to play during this quite period of updates. Thanks to the creator and fingers crossed your can crack it .

The faction project never unlocks, after using commands to unlock it i cant release the UNE in New-York as the US (Or anywhere else)

Kenken's change just corrupts the save, causes game to crash when loading the save.

I cannot do the faction project. I have all pre reqs and it won't unlock. I can see it in the tech tree but it wont unlock to research it

so it seems that the lack of an original capital for the UNE means that it cannot be released and so the UNE can never be formed. the advice by hektar will work, but not in existing saves, you will have to edit your save file if you already started a game before making the edit to the mod files.

to do this, uncheck "use compressed saves" in the settings. go to your documents/my games/terra invicta folder (or wherever saves are on your system) and open the file in a text editor. search for "united nations of earth" then scroll up until you get to the original capital field. edit it to look like this

then save your changes and load the game and it should work
