@everyone, apologies to the long time between updates and releasing of the Empire mod, irl stuff and computer issues for awhile created many set backs, i am still working on the empire mod and updates for bretonnia and cathay. Know that i still have lots planned and have not abandoned the mod i just have had some minor and major setbacks along the way.

Its all good, you do this for free anyways. Take your time, Warhammer isn't going anywhere and we still have plenty of dlcs ahead of us, including Cathay's Yin-Yin/Monkey King/Li Dao :P

@PapaSmurfy thanks, I have a FEW more ideas for Cathay but they propbably wont happen any time soon, currently wrapping up an update for more units for the Bretonnia mod, and working on the Empire which I have a lot of unit ideas for so I may break that mod up into parts...idk yet.

Great work as always, toke a couple months off the game and saw more units were added. Thank you for adding a reasonable unit amount to this faction. Quality over Quantity. And can't wait to see what else you add in the future.

@Gluttonous creature unfortunately not too well, I've made like zero progress due to work, a bunch of IRL stuff, and nearly bashing my head in with all the texture issues that the new Cathay units were experiencing for over a month, BUT I'm working on Bretonnia update right now (hopefully wont take nowhere near as long as Cathay since I learned a lot of WHAT NOT TO DO when making mods), and after Bretonnia ill be working on a Empire and Kislev pack(Empire will be the primary focus though).

@AwDiddums glad you like the units so far, jade pikemen helmets disappearing at a distance is most likely something on my end, i'll look into it, and cerulean serpent archers were heavily influenced by Crane Corp from The Great Wall movie :)

I'm glad I found this mod! The units are really well done! Cathay needed some extra units to face off against the forces of Chaos. I had a minor visual bug with the Jade Pikemen where their helmet texture will disappear if I wasn't zoomed in (probably a mod conflict somewhere!). Really love all the character models - purely my opinion but, it would be great to see less blue and more metal on the Cerulean Serpent Archers. I'll test all the units in battles later. @Guts The Black Swordsman mod has been updated, Iron Tiger Swordsman should be fixed, didnt find anything wrong with Iron Tiger Halberdiers but I redid their recruitment table so if they didnt work before they should now, Cerulean Serpent Archers were recruitable before where crane gunners would be recruited but they have been relocated to Celestial Barracks(I think thats what its called) pretty much where you get the Dragon Guard from now.

Ok little update on the state of the mod: new units (ranged and melee infantry) are still coming and have been literally 95% done for like a month now BUT I ran into some...visual bugs so to speak and everytime I fix it something else breaks and messes up their visuals, but the mod IS still being ACTIVELY worked on.

@tristincv hmmm works fine for me, try disabling your mods and only enable mine to see if it works, if it works then its another mod causing the crash or somehow my mod is incompatible with another mod you have, IF it doesnt work still then i'll poke around my mod and see what could be causing the issue.

Ngl, these pikes are ridic in a good way. Short of successfully getting the old pike wall formation to work perfectly, they do a very good job at just... not letting anything through. Nice work!

Mod has been updated to be playable for 5.2 BUT new units are not included yet...I ran into some issues with a couple of them and am having to rework them.

@PapaSmurfy lol actually work is the furthest thing from taking up all my time, life outside of work is what kills my time, anyways I'm working on the last unit for the mod now so HOPEFULLY sometime tomorrow at most...no promises though

@Severance, MadRevenant already plans to update the mod. Its coming with a few new units though nothing teased aside from a Longbow unit and a Gunner mentioned. Not sure how modding on Steam works but probably has an approval process. Either way all we can do is wait and hope everything is going smoothly.

@PapaSmurfy Ogre units are actually something I've been interested in adding but I don't yet have anything set up for them yet and they won't appear in this mod for awhile. As for RoR units, there are none in the mod currently but I do plan on adding them at some point.
