I typically prefer to make my own creations, rather than trying to implement a unit/character that already exists in the lore. I feel like other modders in the community would be better suited to properly adapt characters like that.

Fair, but this guy is not a son of the dragon emperor. He's a normal lord who was gifted a dragon form by Khorne. The theme is that the human form and dragon form are two different identities, hence why they have different health pools.
