I was able to find the table causing the CTD. Unfortunately I have no idea why it's crashing and no way of fixing it. This forced me to remove the feature of each tribe having unique variants for their cavalry units. But at least the mod is playable again

Can confirm the latest update broke it. Manual resubbing doesn't help.

This literally bricked my saves from yesterday since I cannot load the game with the mod, and disabling it causes a crash when trying to load the save.

Tribes of the North works for me as of current update and doesn't crash the game. Activating this submod causes me to ctd for some reason. This mod was also in my modlist pre update a while ago and it was launching fine. I dunno why the recent update is causing it to crash though :OhNoBlue:

What do you mean with update? The hotfixes shouldn’t have affected this mod at all. I’ll update all of my mods soon though for the upcoming patch anyway

it seems like Ursfjordings dont have his own reskin but have own unit card, can you make one for it on this mod.

No they are not affected. The bear pelt unit cards are from the main Tribes of the North mod. But the models for them haven’t been made yet by the SCM team. As my submod only tweaks stuff I haven’t done anything for them either

Does this mod affect the Ursfjordings at all? My Ursfjording marauders have bear pelts in the unit cards, but in battle they appear to be basic marauders.

No you didn’t do anything wrong. Now that you say it I believe since I’ve added the cavalry reskins the mod is no longer compatible with sfo or any mod that adds new units to norsca. I’ve made a custom military group to get rid of the vanilla cavalry units so you don’t end up with duplicates. A submod would be needed to readd the units

one more question, when i use this mod with sfo, it seems like the lords beside wulfrik can't recruit sfo units. is this mod incompatible with sfo? or its just me setting in wrong order?

No it does not and I won’t add 2d portraits sorry. It’s a huge amount of work for all these variants and since I play with 3d portholes myself I have no motivation to do that

I fixed the cdir values it should work unless I forgot that specific entry. Maybe steam didn’t update. Try redownloading the mod and try again please

Based on what i saw, I think your variants are actually used when [as Skaelings] you recruit norscan marauders through allied recruitment - so that effort wasn't 'wasted' in the end :)

It does matter. I chose the packfiles names so they are automatically in the correct order (alphabetically) and therefore didn’t mention it. Best to leave load order as is unless you really know what you’re doing

Yes that’s normal. They have special unit cards but Tribes of the North hasn’t added an unique look to them yet

Not using Hooveric

Hey, yes the default one. I named the packs so they automatically are in the correct order. So WH1 Tex first, then TotN, Hooveric and lastly the main mod
