@Rage amor rack is the issue, make it so it only accepts 100% condition gear and its fixed
SugaRBomB 14 hours ago
@Aristarchus this mod only repairs damaged apparel. It doesn't remove the tainted effect. Thats a separate mod
GodzillaNaps Aug 21 @ 2:55pm
@nitebane21 --- Yes, change your clothing policy to only allow clothing 51% to 100%. Once it hits 50%, they'll take it off. Then have a policy set to always repair that kind of clothing. And once it's repaired, the pawn that dropped it will put it back on.
nitebane21 Aug 21 @ 2:42pm
Is there a way to get my colonists to stop using something below 50% and get it repaired? Even if I make them drop it they equip it again instead of repair it if its the best quality item.
Aristarchus Aug 21 @ 5:57am
Tainted clothes still tainted after being fully repaired. I even turn on and off the option to see any difference
Irrer on Tour Aug 18 @ 10:01am
@Gregarius i have the EXACT same Problem!:/
Quartino Aug 17 @ 11:52am
@GeodesicDragon it would probably be helpful to give a list of the apparel mods you use that aren't working. Also, be sure that it's not being caused by the armor stand bug mentioned in other comments.
GeodesicDragon Aug 16 @ 3:06pm
Some custom apparel I added in one of my mods is being ignored by the repair simple apparel bill. They appear in the bill, but when it comes to actually repairing them, the mending workbench says there isn't any suitable apparel nearby, despite them being in range. Any idea why this is happening? This problem only appeared recently.
偷鹤小队的未来文盲 Aug 16 @ 9:34am
I wonder if this mod could reset the quality of items. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't work.
I'd like to reset the quality so I could upgrade my assets:steamthis:
Ploof Ploof Aug 15 @ 10:53am
What also works is to restrict the search radius for the mending bills so that the armour stands are not included.

That said i hope this bug gets fixed.
Asgore running over Dess Aug 6 @ 4:13pm
yeah the creator is an ass and wont update lol unsubbing
Com_turtle Aug 6 @ 2:15pm
I can confirm its the armor stands that are causing the mending bench to not work. setting armor stands to only accept 100% condition gear immediately fixed the bench for me
Shishya Aug 4 @ 6:45pm
I am still getting the stand around bug.
Rage Aug 4 @ 6:12pm
i keep getting Pixie started 10 jobs in one tick. newJob=Mend (Job_1162902) A = Thing_TableMending23938 jobGiver=RimWorld.JobGiver_Work jobList=(Mend (Job_1162862) A = Thing_TableMending23938) and it stops all mending. im not sure if its a storage compat mod or what but it broke about 10 hours into a game
Chefspecial Aug 3 @ 1:29pm
@Atreidi, found the fix for this. Make sure the only workers who mend this are Humans. Mechs somehow break this job.
Alexander Kale Aug 1 @ 10:37am
@Yanser Reasearch Reinvented Stepping Stones does this, and I always forget to turn it off. Should be enable by default when you subscribe
Donar Jul 31 @ 10:43pm
@Astus, fixed the standing around bug. Thanks. Looks like Armor racks are the issue added with 1.6.
Kijani Jul 29 @ 9:52pm
Hi there,

I have a problem with apparel made out of guinea pig fur. Every time my pawn should mend or recycle it, it runs into a loop. "Fails" appears above the worker's head at regular intervals, but he never finishes the task until he falls asleep from exhaustion.

Can anyone confirm this error or know a workaround?
Astus Jul 29 @ 5:01pm
As a workaround I can recommend setting up outfit stands to only accept things with 100% durability. This way things that are eligible for repair are always accessible by pawns while only equipment that is repaired and thus ready for use is neatly displayed on the mannequins.
Atreidi Jul 28 @ 7:43pm
This might be related to the error @Krystenix was mentioning... :(
Atreidi Jul 28 @ 7:39pm
Not sure what the mod incompatibility is but see below:

Hi there :)

I made a new mod Paint-N-Tweaks, that will take over for my old one, Paintable Spots & Objects.
I made some compatibility with your mod, so buildings or spots can be painted, just wanted to let you know.

Chefspecial Jul 28 @ 1:50pm
@programmed.messiah I had the same problem. Just make sure the stuff you want to mend is not in your stand. Use the hit points slider.
programmed.messiah Jul 27 @ 8:11pm
Can confirm - outfit stands break the mod.
Yanser Jul 27 @ 11:14am
is there a possibility to add an option to only be able to repair things you've researched? or is there maybe an alternative that does this?
Monti Jul 26 @ 12:33pm
@Weston most likely a problem with outfit stand, limit recipe radius and place a shelf for apparel you need to repair in it, basically you need to make so that mending bech doesnt see the stand
Weston Jul 25 @ 5:19pm
My pawns will only stand around and won't mend even if the mending bench is full and there are items around to mend. This started in the last couple days.
Bydluck Jul 24 @ 4:53am
removing power consumption from mod options makes people stuck on animation but not doing anything, for days
Neocryptorian Jul 23 @ 12:47pm
Thanks a ton @Krystenix that should be added to the mod description as a known fix and god knows why that somehow makes things break =P
Krystenix Jul 23 @ 11:59am
Okay I did a lot of testing to figure out the issue. 1.6 Adds outfit stands. A pawn can not go to a outfit stand and remove a item directly, then bring it to the mending workbench. Something about taking an item from a outfit stand and into inventory isn't functioning so the pawn will just go into standing still.
VitaKaninen Jul 23 @ 10:59am
I seam what you did there ;)
Neocryptorian Jul 23 @ 10:55am
Seams there is a current build issue from the mod making pawns get stuck and not perform the recycling or mending have not done a vanilla test thou to verify if this happens with this mod only while trying to mend and recycle :P

Also not sure if there is something random making this occure as it seams to only give an error from this mod specificaly.

Jono started 10 jobs in one tick. newJob=Recycle (Job_8579441) A = Thing_HandTailoringBench988068 jobGiver=RimWorld.JobGiver_Work jobList=(Recycle (Job_8579401) A = Thing_HandTailoringBench988068)
古茗地窖 Jul 22 @ 9:59am
found a bug.if helmet in outfit stand, and pawn will mend this helmet ,the pawn will stuck and standing
PriorKnight Jul 22 @ 4:11am
thank you!
Xarian Jul 21 @ 4:16pm
@Monk Is it specifically 100% durability, or do you just need to make sure that there is zero overlap between the mending table and the outfit stands? For example, if you set the mending table to only accept 0-74%, and you set the outfit stands to 75-100%, would that be compatible?
mosseph Jul 21 @ 6:04am
Thank you for updating and for all the work you do for this mod! One of my favorites for sure.
ToooMuchSalsa Jul 20 @ 6:12pm
I order certain damaged weapons to be recycled and when commanding a pawn to do it, a box says cannot recycle, no available workbenches. What workbench am I missing? I have the mending table and the machining table they were made from. Is it the fab bench?
Monk Jul 20 @ 3:41pm
There is an issue with the new outfit stands.
Solution: Only allow Items that are at 100% durability.
Store ALL items below 100% durability in stockpiles.
Xane Tempest Jul 20 @ 12:38pm
Got an odd bug. In mod-options, I took out mending table, fuel and power and set it to just work on a regular tailoring bench... only to find my colonists would just start standing around and not doing anything... for HOURS! Removed the repair job, they're happy to go about being productive. No idea what's caused that one. Going to test s'more.
Elgate Jul 20 @ 8:11am
Can confirm. The mending table doesn't like the outfit stand.

RedGoat Jul 20 @ 5:17am
can confirm the bug is related to outfit stands, if i allow pawns to grab items from it they just get stuck in place not doing anything while spewing out error logs
chrismmar Jul 19 @ 8:07am
Edit: the way I can see you fixing this bug is by making sure anything you plan to recylce is forbidden on your armour stands. as it just breaks the job. may wanna make a fix to this in future updates
chrismmar Jul 19 @ 8:05am
love this mod, but its now after the 1.6 update its giving me the "Pronunciation-Box started 10 jobs in one tick" bug, any fixes available?
Gregarius Jul 19 @ 7:50am
https://pastebin.com/hStXMMP0

This error is thrown when my "Recycle Apparel" bill is resumed on the electric tailor bench, and after a pawn recycles an item and puts the resulting materials back down at a storage zone. They then stand still for a few seconds, then grab another item to continue recycling, which continues to throw errors. Strange. But thank you for this mod.
10-4 Apricot Jul 19 @ 5:03am
@FomoNa yeah just destroying the armour stands fixed it, it appears to be something specific to them.
10-4 Apricot Jul 19 @ 12:59am
@FomoNa thanks for the tip, ill remove my armour stands and see if that fixes the issue for now.
FomoNa Jul 19 @ 12:38am
I'm experiencing the same error as mentioned in the comment below.
After checking, it seems the issue occurs when an outfit stand is equipped with repairable clothing items and the "Allow removing items" option is enabled.
MadEorlanas Jul 18 @ 9:56am
Same error as below, they seem to have some issue with the work task
10-4 Apricot Jul 17 @ 10:23pm
im having a strange error, my pawns just stand around waiting but not mending?

any Ideas?
VitaKaninen Jul 16 @ 1:00pm
You need to craft a mending kit at a tailoring bench.
