i have a question, are the bugs next to insectoid raiders part of the mod? they look nice, i have the mod downloaded snooped around and could find anything like the way those look, pls tell me i want them in my game, even if they're js a re-skin of bugs

@Dingleberry von Mistwiesen - It is compatibilite in that it won't crash the game or anything, but the insectoids that normally build insectoid stuff in VFE Insectoid produced by the egg injectors won't build and just act as tamed animals.

With the egg injectors how long does it take for them to hatch? I see values like 0.5 which at this point guessing they're multipliers, but don't really tell me how long something takes to hatch

A male colonist who I uesd gentic rewriter convert in to Splice-Queen is still male.
Could you add the gene to force the Queen to be female?

Update: Splice-Queen Xenotype
Splice-queens excel at raising animals and influencing people, and can inject regular insectoid eggs into animals (and humans) to grow an insectoid army. Bigger insectoids, like hive queens, require bigger bodies.

Furried imagin if the hive queen xenotype has a gene that lets her choose the genotype of her offspring maybe the other xenotypes could be updated to being sterile to make the queen extra important to colony growth

New Xenotype: Splice-Locusts!
Splice-Locusts are a rare caste that specializes in operating spacecraft and surviving in space. They are fast and capable of a little of bit everything needed to make a living on a ship, but need expensive drugs to keep alive.

The screenshots for the mod make me once again wonder if the developers know that the "Thorax" is the middle part of an insect and not the hind part.
The hind part is called the "abdomen"
