@ALL, If some of you can do some testing of the harder game levels, that would be fantastic because I don't have much time to play currently. This will allow me to find the cap limit for the impossible/endless levels. You can report your findings here or by joining my discord in the link above.

well there is 9 pages of release notes and I put in there what I change, but if I go into to much detail it just takes forever to write that stuff, have a lot going on.

If you look at the readme.txt, it has all of them if I remember correctly, I try to keep track of that stuff as best I can, but early stuff maybe gone.

I added Extended Galaxy settings and Terraform Away as mandatory downloads now, so I could patch them in Redux, since they aren't getting patched in their files. And yes you do need to have them installed.

Well, enfer has special install instructions, you have to manually put the file where it needs to be, check the instructions. After that it doesn't matter. Community fixes should go first, Redux should be last.

Make sure you guys get the newest Enfer Reloaded, there are some even more great changes in there too. This release of Redux addresses some more minor issues but should fix happiness in the game at the higher levels of difficulty.

@Archailect... I have no idea since I have not played it. But from what I have been told, ESG is more geared for multiplayer, that's about all I know. I am still working on stuff though so it is a work in progress if you don't mind that.

Been playing this mod and it's really made a lot of aspects of the game more fun and challenging. I highly recommend others check it out and provide their feedback.

No they do not purchase Academy fleets ever. They only win the Spear of Isyander in the contest where you donate resources and access to that fleet is temporary, while access to purchased Academy fleets is permanent. It's a huge advantage for human players over the AI.

I will eventually get to the Academy stuff, but that will be a full weekends worth of work for sure. I need to get the overall balance correct first, before tweaking individual factions.

@Skummeh As far as the Market Place, no buying of ships for you but observe to see if the AI does buy ships now, as I changed a few things. You can buy a few of the Heroes too, I have to find the adjustment on that because too many heroes are there. But you should be able to trade just fine with the rest of it. Thanks for the help.

@Skummeh, Play fair of course Exploits from the game mechanics are not a fair way to gauge the mod itself, as I can only do so much to mitigate them when a game mechanics. What I am interested in knowing is how well the AI grows and plays. I am also interested if you can win without cheating..LOL I need to know if I need to adjust the difficulty levels, Don't play with AI Vodiani since they have issues. Hissos need tested to see if they are doing any better after some of my adjustments.

Before I start, purchasing anything with rep in the "Academy Store" seems to be an unfair advantage as the AI never buys those Academy fleets, etc. Therefore, I have not used the store at all to keep things "fair". I assume I should continue doing this or do you encourage using those store options? Also did you make any changes to the Marketplace to make it less OP for human players to exploit? I want to know how to approach this.

Sure. I'll try a Horatio game at Normal speed and everything on Endless. I'll use Vaulters and Awakening DLC only.

No, this is not that, the AI will not do anything to take the last mission planets that they are supposed to (the ones on the outskirts of nowhere). I remember that this broke after an expansion pack early on, and I reported it, but obviously it still has not been fixed. OUIVE! Must I fix them all! it is so tedious and consuming of my free time! Although I am playing with Pnumbra off. I really don't like Hacking!

Is this the bug where you have the Academy mission enabled, but set their expansion to None in the Awakening DLC options? That's a known issue that I believe is being worked on. OK guys I have been playing for awhile it seems that the Academy final mission is completely broken, do you guys remember what version of the game it actually worked? I think it was before the first DLC. Also, there is a ton of work to do, it looks like this will be a complete overhaul and I need your help.

My pleasure and happy to share my thoughts. Always appreciate people trying to make the game more engaging. Sorry I don't have much to say about the combat because I was way ahead of everyone else. I'll wait for your next patch and then give it a try, and will avoid exploiting the marketplace if I have to.

@Skummeh Yeah there is no easy answer for the market place for sure, it really is fundamentally ill thought out with it's function. I am not done with it yet and will keep experimenting, my main goal was to actually get it stable so it wasn't crashing all the time. Part of the core issue is the plethera of resources you get, if they were truly scarce it would make a huge difference. I am playing a huge map currently and I am having to give away systems in order to keep things from going bad with a democracy. I can definitely increase the values of ships becaause they are pretty dang cheap and I do need to adjust those markets a tad bit more. How much do you think for ship increase? Another 10x. I do know that part of the issue from what I see is how extremely easy it is late game to just build whatever you want. The Strategic resources need moved around but all of that will have to come much later as I have a lot to figure out. Thanks for playing and giving me some feedback.

Gave this a go with the ENFER Reloaded DLL, Community Fixes, and then your mod. Played on Normal speed as Horatio on Endless difficulty. I found the market too easy to exploit and made a fortune off of it. I'm neutral on the Hero bonus reduction but certainly didn't have a problem with that adjustment. I think increasing the system colonization cap is a mistake and unbalances the game; I'd leave that alone, personally. The frequent elections were nice and I like getting access to more advanced laws earlier. Slashing the cost of science and trade agreements is definitely a good move because of the AI bugging out with them, but I didn't bother making friends so didn't test it.

Ultimately I couldn't really enjoy the mod nor feel the difference with the combat changes because the marketplace situation made it easy to steamroll everyone else with CP3 ships.

I actually would not use most other mods unless they specifically say they are for use with this version of the game. They will cause errors in the logs and create a shuddering mess of game play.

@AA Yes you subscribe to get the file. but you manually replace the AI files of the game. after that the mod can be discarded. Do not put it in your load order, just uncheck it. No you do not need any other combat re-balances. I have pretty much touched every aspect of space combat and even the planetary invasion, so just play with those. it is a BETA and may need adjustment.

However, Enfer reloaded DOES tell us to subscribe it as the first step, only then do you replace the AI DLL file.
So it shows up in load order of mods.
Should I place it top or bottom, do you know?
Also there are the Re-Awakening: Combat & Invasion Balanace mods. I assume we do not need those if we subscribe yours, right?

Thanks! Enfer is not in the load order at all, you need to read those directions, as you replace an AI file. My mod should be last, and communty fixes first.

Just letting you know your mod doesn't actually require any dlcs, it'll just not use parts not relevant to that dlc.
