Mercy i thought it was client side but it isnt like in multiplayer it isnt with some stuff, im sorry that im taking so long for a new update btw everyone im quite busy with a bunch o' stuff so progress is sloooow

Infernum EoL broke with the projectile despawning setting enabled; the attack where she summons 4 prismatic swords over her completely broke and she just didnt continue attacking.

great to see the mod is gonna be updated.

Mods like high fps support and nitrate have their own optimisations which are cool.

I would look at high fps support's optimisations because the Solid Tile optimisation and Lighting Phase 3 optimisation can be buggy with certain mods. Also, mod causes some vfx to be faster at high fps so if you found a way to make high fps but without that issue, it would be cool.

Nitrate is pretty cool as it is so i would try to make this mod compatible with it and also the high fps mod since it is nice to play on higher refresh rates. Though, it would be cool if you found a way to fix some issues with the high fps mod.

hey gamers alil update, im planning on remaking the mod ive got some good ideas that should help

i may need some people for testing so if you're willing to do some lil tests with me at some point lmk as that'd be really helpful! (also suggestions &/ or tips are very welcome as i do wanna know what you'd like to see in the mod)

Even though this mode is done for, that doesn't removes the fact it really helps a lot, my PC used to suffer, especially at the last bosses from Calamity, but this mod really changed that, one of the bests to increase performance

it is possible to exclude fallen stars but if i touch this again i would rework the entire thing & i currently dont want to do that as ive got like 5 other projects im currently on

I love the projectile distance killer but it suddenly started killing all the fallen stars too and that's a massive problem for new characters

[Alexey] in order for that to be fixed i would have to update the mod & currently im not going to be updating it as ive been very busy with alot of other stuff! but in the future i do plan to give it a update & a complete rework so at some point that should be fixed but that wont be anytime soon probably

fire, dog's projectile grid thingy doesnt make my pc run a -60 fps and with 100000000000005 giga imput lag :steamthumbsup:

I really love this mod but sadly cannot use it just because some boss attacks dissapear not vanilla but from other mods like infernum dog projectile or primordial wyrn only has head maybe anyone knows how to fix that.

i thought that i had the limit on the max of the zoom out area, big rip on my part lol

made a slight fix for that issue: you can toggle the projectile distance this fixes the issue in multiplayer & stars not falling for now :)

just downloaded this mod it improved the fps a lot but there seems to be issue with stars not falling maybe because they are distant objects so the mod just prevents them from spawing is there any way to fix that?

mhm & i do recommend trying "Nitrate" if you havent already! it has some optimizations for tile rendering that could maybe help aswell (could use both mods together!)

okay! hello everyone! here is some news

i will be working on this mod less now (im not stopping... just gonna be working on it alil more slowly compared to when it was first made)

this is because i am making a new mod! as mentioned in the "Do Note!" i want to make a mod with a bunch of new content that i hope you'll enjoy (& even if you dont i would love some feedback when it comes out! as i'd love to hear from you <3)

next update for this mod will hopefully address the issue with multiplayer, add features for effect reduction & abit more though :)

ive not at all tested the mod with multiple players (just kinda assumed it'd work)

thank you for telling me! i will make a fix for that sometime soon! hope that it isnt to much of an issue for you guys for now!

I'm loving this mod, but in Multiplayer it's disabling some of my friends weapons, like the Vanilla whip if they're too far away from the host.

steam workshop right now is also being very funky so i am going to wait before making a update, but bosses n such should be excluded from that so that is very odd to me

I should add that I believe I fixed the boss issue by changed the enemy distance limit to it's max of 200. I suspect it's to do with bosses spawning off-screen.

I unfortunately have to second the issue with odd boss behavior (it happened with King Slime for me), and I had two Party Girls spawn, one of which was a walking full sprite-sheet of a fairy. This playthrough is also using Calamity if that's potentially the issue.

that doesnt sound like something my mod is doing as my mod doesnt affect any textures nor townnpc's currently so thats quite odd, things like customs worms i cannot really do much about but will make a workaround here soon!

I played this mod with calamity for a few hours, it seems no fallen star was generated.

Once leaving the screen, every worm boss losses its body and the remaining head turns to something with no texture, the head keeps attacking using worm ai.
After defeating destroyer's "head", three steampunker enter my world... ಥ_ಥ

Also, NPCs' texture is missing and becomes not interactive sometimes when using teleport.

i can look into making a setting for armor effects & other types of effects (i myself didnt think that armor would really affect performance but some mods do love being abit flashy lol)

Hey, as a user of a weak DNS laptop 10 years ago, I can say you did very well. I put Tesla armor on a magician giving an effect that makes my laptop lag and called Yaron and I was given 10-12 fps! For me, this is very good, but without armor it gave 20-30 fps. I would like to add a setting that allows you to disable these armor effects, as well as disable filters during boss battles in the later stages of the game. Well done that you want to make terraria and calamity itself (well, or infernum) more optimized

Tabletop Simulator & Steviegt6 i dont consider what you've said to be rude im actually quite happy about the concern! this is kinda my first mod for TModLoader and i myself am not entirely sure about alot of things with TModLoader so im just mainly free balling it

i posted this in this state as i tested it on a 580X and was seeing 20 more frames when using it, ill update the mod with some screenshots of improvements that ive been able to see (if any)

I'm with Oli (Tabletop Simulator) on this to an extent. Your changes will improve performance [but only negligibly]; I'd like to talk with you directly (perhaps on Discord?) for further discussion.

Some proper profiling is in place. Also: don't bother modifying tiles to only render within the radius of the player, they already do that (this applies for basically all rendering).
