Just saying, that's my experience and that of some others, and I don't know if this is "accurate" or anything. But I've enjoyed it for what it is when it does work and will probably ride again.
1. It's probably related to the longer gear ratios the ND2 uses. Try to check the ND1 version since it has different gears
2. We're working on updating it and it will be included in the next patch
Two quick questions:
1) Why is it so gutless under 3k RPM? Did they put a different cam and intake on it and now it has no torque under 3k? Because mine with a long-tube header and aggressive tune may not launch like a rocket but it definitely picks up speed much faster in the bottom half of the RPM range.
2) Why does the engine coolant temp start of at 125 °F when you first get in the car and then hover around ambient air temp after a few moments of movement?
I had similar issues with Cayman mod after it got "upgraded" to the new sound engine
and I also had it in official Aston GTE, other cars I've driven were right so... idk
First of all, we're thoroughly enjoying it. I'm writing this after a few hours, couple of races session which was nothing but fun and laughs..
That being said, It really does feel... well a bit too neutral (if that's even possible xD). Someone already said they feel like the real car is a bit more lively, oversteery. I agree.
As for the visuals, reflections/clear coat are a bit over the top. It's like it was never meant to be shown under direct sunlight. When cloudy, it looks superb.
Biggest "complaint" i have is visual damage. It honestly looks like body panels turn into duct tape that have been painted over. With an update to a few things, it would most likely be 10/10.
all are lots of oversteering without power
us cars are good in turns and you can oversteer with gas pedal
However, FYI, the steering has a serious bug. To reproduce, set a deadzone in your steering in rF2 settings. The steering does not return to center, meaning the car is always wandering back-and-forth in a straight line - nearly undriveable, and impossible to race.
This bug will frustrate any users with a deadzone in their steering. Some (like me) may use a deadzone with their wheel, and all controller players will be affected as well. If you could please consider fixing this in the future, that would be amazing - it would allow more of us to enjoy this otherwise-amazing mod.
