Guardsman has received an update! He now has an alternative skin (with pants!), a new CoM trinket and Shallow Thrust has been changed into Blind Lunge!

Why isn't he wearing pants?

The class is a well made art wise and has good feel to it, but the icons dont have the border like everyone else, making it look off from others.

The abilities are the reason i feel like its a bit lacking with most of the abilities coming from hellion herself (what isnt bad per say). The 2 last abilities are the only "unique" here and i feel like going around them could make this interesting with guarded units getting buffed (as simple to getting more acc or crit).

i have played only 3 long runs with the class so the trinket knowledge is small but i wanted to give some feedback before i forget and i dont mean this as a bad review but more of what your ideas are

Pants are overrated. Shorts are comfy and easy to wear.

Any tips on how a guy like me can get a pair of legs like those?

As much I'm also a little weirded out by the legs, the character is actually a reference to the Clocktown guardsman from Zelda Majora's mask. So technically, the character looks exactly as it should.

Now I would still Love for someone to make an addon to this mod that slightly alter the skin to give him proper legwear, but as it stands, the mod itself is in essence, absolutely fine and does what it is meant to do

This mod looks AWESOME! I really really want to use him but the legs look... just a bit off. Is there a skin where he covers them with pants? Probably just a me thing

my guy got legs for days, i would like to see him getting some armor pants but it is a cool change of pace.

A skin variant isn't something we consider doing, unless someone wants to provide arts for it.
Regarding trinkets - he actually has two thematic trinkets that aren't currently listed on the workshop page and we might add more!

Erf, I saw the reference for the character, I guess the shorts Are part of the look. Oh well, I can make do, I included him in my "Townfolk" party as the frontliner, so I got a guardsman, watcher, heir and judge as a fully fledged, and functional party. I had been looking for a militia/guard type character, so he fits the bill quite well. Will he get trinkets ?

I quite like the concept, but I'm not a fan of the shorts any possibility for a skin variant that has suede trousers, or mail ?

Huh. An interesting concept for a class but mechanics wise he seems great. Looking forward to trying him out.
