it loses altitude midway to/from arctic its not bcz of engine temp since it can fly beatufully in the arctic but in between it its almost like the air is thinner there making it lose lift and then it crashes into the ocean any idea how to fix that or is that just a pilot issue?

when you climb the plane just tilts to the right for no reason please fix if possible :)

@jsk_2002 i'm pretty sure those weren't around back then. They adapted it first during the war to the B-17's for "automatic pilot" to the bombardier station giving him control over the trim of the aircraft while approaching the target. You don't need those to fly if the aircraft performs nominally, and you are a good 'virtual' pilot.

amazing plane, however after like 60km ish it just started losing power, still had 3800L of fuel, engines didnt overheat, i turned on backup batteries, but it didnt help

Aright guys, I made a few updates. The Aux tank refill isn't fixed yet but the lights and battery recharge is fixed! I'm sorry for the inconvenience!

Is their a way to charge up the plan's batteries?

Footnote: Imo there are too many strobe lights, realistically you should only need a pair for the wing tips and one for the aft of the aircraft. The nav light also needs a steady white lamp at the back of the aircraft too. (consider removing the strobe light on the top and bottom of the fuselage and the top of the vertical stab)

The aircraft structure is really good, however I have noticed a couple of flaws which I will list below with fixes.

-No electrical generation, there is no way for the batteries to recharge once turned on (consider adding a small generator on a geared up ratio which connects into the aircraft batteries)
-The aircraft flight controls are janky (consider modifying the responsible controller which moves the control surfaces)
-Your Aux fuel tank pumps and aft strobe lights do not have an electrical connect (add one connecting to the battery to make your aux tanks accessible)
-Additional point on aux tanks, there is no way to refuel them once depleted (consider adding a port with a on way fluid pump feeding into the aux tank behind the aux fuel pump)

Thats all the ones ive discovered so far. None the less awesome build

Finally a good DC-3! Some form of autopilot would be nice; waypoint, or heading hold if you want to keep the realism of it.

Did the update go through? Plane's still the same. Btw we appreciate you being this active on updating your aircraft, mans got better dev support than major games.

I fixed it now, it might not be the most optimal but see it as a quick fix for the time being.
