-literally any purchase-only tauntkill is an awful idea because it would inevitably be called p2w (which it honestly could be)
-how does karate fit into scout's character
good attempt and it's better than another vehicle taunt but the way scout is animated in midair just looks iffy
The animation just looks off. The bow at the start is really floaty and unnatural looking (like he's made of Jell-O), the kick has very little wind-up and lacks weight and speed, and it feels like the whole sequence is just missing something at the end (maybe some kind of insult from the scout paired with a gesture?). For the bowing, I'd look to his flip taunt. When he completes a flip he also does a bow, but it's a lot quicker [ https://youtu.be/r4b4iR2kfKg?si=ZwLtfyVy8raOKUTi&t=34 ].
I hope this all doesn't come off too harsh because I really like this on a conceptual level. (Had to break it up into 2 comments cause Steam said I was yapping too much :P)
It is just a concept, after all. I got multiple opinions on how the taunt looked while I was creating it, and everybody gave me the green light when I finalized how it looked. I'm in disbelief with the response, but honestly it just tells me I need to work on fitting these taunts into the game's style because I made a few decisions that made the taunt's style look a bit less like what can be seen in TF2.
I'm coming back to these first two taunts later, but for now I'm going to move on and try to nail this next one.
I imagine it would have to be paired with a weapon in a best case scenario.
