Would it be possible to give Wood Elf lords an ability that makes their entire army immune to the corruption? I was thinking that might be an easier way to make modded units immune, if it's possible, since I know there's something similar on certain legendary lords.

and just to give you a little more detail why its a tree altering mod that causes your problem
this mod changes the tree table of the game so that

tree_large_01 NURGLE uses model wef_tree_oak_large_01.wsmodel

and

tree_large_01 WOODELVES uses model wef_tree_oak_large_01.wsmodel

so if you have a mod that changes any of those and overrides other mods

to like

tree_large_01 NURGLE uses model nur_fancymodtree.rigidmodel

then your nurgel trees look different than in the pictures ^^

The nurgle corruption base is causing a the trees to look like nurgles pus trees instead of wood elf trees

My man I have several thousand hours in this game. If I recall correctly, I couldn't find any building that spreads wood elves corruption but I'll recheck it soon. Usually, the way it works is that the main building spreads most of the corruption, while other buildings only slightly boost it excluding unique landmarks. I didn't see this mod doing any of that, but again, I'll double-check

are you new to the game? if so no problem see this has nothing to do with sof or this mod
nearly every lord, building, region stuff and so on for non chaos factions have corruption decrease effects. if you want to spread this specific corruption you have to build the buildings that actualy spread it ^^

A Retexture of the Nurgle Corruption means that the Nurgle Corruption now looks different, so if you use this mod and play with the Wood-Elve Race you get a new Corruption
but at the same time the original Nurgle Creep also looks different but dose the same like attrition damage on non chaos or "imune" units

@georgy... you are right, this mod here changes 1 line in a code file...with every game update no matter what gets changed, this file also changes. and with this change the texture the corruption uses gets reverted to the original one even tho the mod files provide different files.

@bloothtooth, Maybe you're using Dynamic world or Dynamic world + fancier forestry. The corruption files uses assets from other corruptions such as mono god corruption or vampire corruption.

I love this idea! I tried to run it but it ended up being nurgle corruption, but with a new symbol. I haven't tested to see if its a compatibility issue with other mods yet, but it sounds like others are having the same issue. Would love to see this in full force. Keep it up, love the creativity and would love to see more like this.

I played with this mod but i did not liked the visuals of it, i think it would be more

Sir, Per a Drycha forest corruption option (Drycha is one legendary lord in the Wood Elf DLC/group: she is not an elf, but a tree creature that looks to rid the land /forests of all non-wood things, including wood elves). Under that premise, I would think the trees and foliage would be darker (anything to convey a more hostile feel).

One other thought, have you considered using your skills and applying them toward a Drycha themed forest expansion? I don't know if such would be wood elf-y or not. If it went in another wood direction, maybe be a kind of forest more dark and foreboding.
