Happy to report that it works, mate! I booted it up the first time after seeing your message and encountered the issue, but uninstalling than reinstalling the mod after your update fixed it all.

@Silvxae @WOLFPackHound Can you verify things work well now? I was able to load into Forge World just fine with the 2.0 update I just pushed. The entire Multiplayer map selection is now here as well (Except Tempest due to memory issues), so there's lots to enjoy now.

Hello again, Gashnor! I've noticed I've had problems as well with Forge World after a recent update, but I'm positive that it's already come to your attention.

Regarding the Projectilinator, I may or may not have come up with names for Sprees with it (provided that you don't Projectilinate yourself): Projectilination Spree, Disorderly Gunduct (originally "Projectile Dysfunction"), and Agent of Chaos. And after using the F-Bomb so much - one of my favourite items you've made - I've decided to voice some of my own.

There has, but I don't know if I can add much more. Some of the levels in this game are maxed out on memory, where if I add one new weapon they might stop building entirely. It's a huge issue I'm trying to work around. I hoped at one point 343 would update the games to support more memory like they did for H3, but it's pretty jam packed right now

It doesn't have AS many things done to it as H3 and Reach, but that's because modding ODST in general is by far the worst due to how it's built.

So it's fully playable and has a good amount of modifications, but I haven't yet gotten around to doing cutscenes or in game changes too much

What's funny is I dialed down the AI damage to something like 10% damage, but I think because of how it's structured, it doesn't reduce damage like that for that weapon only.

I'll just make them fire way less if it's that bad. I've played through it a bit but it's hard for me to gauge difficulty knowing the ins and outs of the mod

I've encountered the one on "Reach Tahoe", sometimes an enemy gets yeeted out of the map (usually up on the hill by ONI Sword Base), and until they die the game won't progress. I've tried getting creative with death barriers up there, but then the Phantoms would randomly explode and really soft lock you. I probably will resort to simply removing those scripts checking for enemies remaining, let you just run through.

Gravitational Falls, are you talking about where you defend the area with civilians? If a Phantom blows up there, it soft locks, but you can simply run past that spot. If it's later on, sometimes I've noticed there are occasionally camo Elites that struggle with the high gravity and are caught down low on a ledge or something like that.

Thanks for reporting though, I'll try to see if I can tinker with scripts and not break it too much

On the reach Tahoe vacation mission me and a buddy encountered a soft lock in the first area where we could not progress past the gate and into the driving section where the wraiths are. also another soft lock on gravitational fall we got soft locked on the dam being unable to progress past the first phantom

Looks like the F-bomb dialogue only works with English voices. Any other language including Japanese won't do

Strange, I just did a full playthrough with somebody and both of us heard it fine. I did change it to use dialog audio to attempt to sync in co-op, there's a chance that Steam somehow didn't update your fmod files for audio so it doesn't know where to reference. Maybe try a quick unsubscribe/resubscribe to see if Steam forces a download

Yeah that'll work around it. I've ended up making it more like a H3 equipment for this next patch, where you throw it out in front of you. I also delayed the visual screen effect (aka the flashbang) by 2 seconds so it's away from you, and made it more of a "dark flash".

Also going to be adding a new equipment and potentially another new weapon, so keep an eye out for that.

Thank you for responding!! In the meantime, i found turning on night vision when you throw it stops the flash bang effect, so that works well as a substitute! :harveyhappy:

@Bunerable - I'm working on a little patch that'll adjust the brightness of that and hopefully get the distortion effect to work with shared maps

@Buttered Toast - Sometimes unsubscribing and resubscribing can work wonders, Steam Workshop is funky and sometimes won't trigger the mod to properly download. I would try that to see if it works. Once it's installed, you should be able to find it in Campaign > Halo Reach, Firefight > Halo Reach, or Multiplayer > Halo Reach.

Hey bandgoon, try again now if you get the chance! I believe I identified the conflict with my Gruntpocalypse mod and this. It was a simple change in the mod setup, so the download for the fix is tiny, no new files needed to download. But try again and see if that works now, and let me know if it does!

mister gashnor ik im late to the party with the comments and whatnot but i was playing reach with my buddy and when we got to just the tip it kept crashing no matter what i did and i cant play the next level with my buddy is there any way to fix this?

It's done for now, Reach cutscenes are a little more annoying to modify than Halo 3 was, so I haven't done much. The few I've modified ended up causing issues from seemingly small things, but eventually I might spend a few months modifying some cutscenes if I can. It's also worth mentioning that I've basically maxed Reach out currently, adding new things has a really good chance of breaking it from building by overloading memory.

For now, I don't have plans to modify more, it's pretty good where I want it, but never say never

I'm curious if this mod is done or cause of the grunt campaign you plan on changing tip of the spear and the beginning of long night, I'd love to see this mod kind alike the halo 3 one just fully change cut scenes and honestly fully embrace the legend of zelda thing going on, either way this mod is a blast and I can't wait to see what other crazy things you got planned

* Right click on Halo MCC
* Under the "General" tab, find "Launch Options"
* Set "Selected Launch Option" to either "Ask when starting game" or "Play Halo: MCC Anti-Cheat Disabled"

Start MCC up with Easy Anti Cheat disabled (if you don't see the options and it just boots, you need to check your game properties and select it there)

Go to campaigns > Halo Reach

You should see it and any other mods listed there

@Gashnor, idk if you're aware or not, but there was a steam update pushed out today and now none of your campaign or multiplayer mods are loading into the game. I've double checked to make sure I have them installed and checked the load order as well. You may need to update them to the current steam update version. If I can get them to load and work before you update them, I'll delete this comment. Until then, I hope this finds you well.

I would love to do H2 at some point, but it's a HUGE time sink that I don't have at this time. Even if I start today, at minimum if I pushed myself like I did for Reach, it'll be probably 8-10 months to complete.

I'm glad people enjoy my stuff and I'm proud of what I've made, but I don't know if I have another 1,000 of working in my free time to put in right now. It doesn't mean it won't happen, but I have a few other things to focus on for the time being (and a family now).

im about to try out your reach and 3 cursed mods. i have full faith in you that these will be very pleasantly fun to play, but i do have a question. will halo 2, or 4 get some cursed love?
