In next several months, updates will be made regarding the battles in the Normandy Saint-Lô region, including village and town conflicts, fortress area defenses, and maybe sth else.
第一个任务有更新,第二个任务是要站到任务提示的圈里,第三个任务你可以调节游戏速度,多用斯图卡火箭弹清图注意地雷问题不大。不过第二个和第三个确实需要优化一下。

The 1st mission had way too many enemies. The engine simply cannot handle so many entities. Especially towards the end after your reinforcements arrive and the Soviets attack from the left, the game just slows down to an absolute crawl. I know you want to create a realistic battle but you need to keep the engine's limits in mind. Playing with 15FPS isn't very enjoyable
Here's my feedback for the 1st Defense mission. I think the 1st objective to protect the convoy is a bit too difficult (Hardcore mode).
1. The Soviet tanks go outside of the map if you place antitank obstacles on the right side even if you leave openings on the left for them to go through.
2. There's barely enough time to set up defenses in 11 minutes, you must already know what's coming and put the game on slow speed to micro everything.
3. Trucks & wheeled vehicles can get stuck trying to cross the bridge.
What I suggest:
1. Make the ground outside of the map border completely impassable so that the AI doesn't cheat by going around the tank obstacles. The player only gets 40 hedgehogs anyway.
2. Increase setup time to 14 minutes
Overall I really like what you have made here. This was excellently scripted and it was fun.

暂且称呼阁下为楼主吧。楼主我打了三遍。我唯一的问题是我把两虎式送走之后确实跳出来下一个任务是让我保持路线畅通。之后我需要做的就是需要固守待援吗?即使我送走了虎式虎式任务也不打√。这是不是一个bug?
如果没bug的话虎式任务显示完成后会过一阵出新任务
哈哈,那你给点点赞。那些步兵还有几个坦克是和虎式一起进攻的,我没调完美。敌人杀没杀不影响。虎式走了还没完,后面要守到被围部队抵达才算结束,还有可选任务摧毁炮阵地。可以用野蜂和火箭炮反炮兵,也可以推。
额,照理应该是虎式开到任务提示点就会触发,然后虎式会自己离开。触发任务前是一直在突破,所以会一直暴兵直至虎式到达任务点。任务和敌人数量没关系,地图上敌人数量是恒定的,你杀完就会出,除非完成阶段性的防御或进攻任务。

You can't just consider the gaming aspect. Ensuring an orderly withdrawal rather than a chaotic rout, without abandoning heavy equipment on a large scale, is already the limit of Germany's high tactical proficiency. It's hard to imagine what the result would be when, during a major retreat, the retreating troops haven't had time to construct defensive positions, and they face an enemy with three to four times the manpower and over five times the number of tanks launching an attack. As far as I know, throughout the entire campaign, except for the rescue of surrounded friendly forces in Mariupol and counterattacks in the Krivoy Rog and Zaporizhzhia regions, the German army did not engage in large-scale offensive operations. Ninety percent of the scenarios involving the German army were focused on retreat and defense. Perhaps there will be offensive missions later on.
Could the new missions be more attacks and offenses?

There is ample time for mine clearance, and there are spare tools in the motorcycle.
The battlefield is dynamic, and enemies will not remain indifferent like AI during your mine clearance period. Different branches of the military need to cooperate with each other, so please protect your engineers during the mine clearance period.
Why am I failing? How will we find and clear all the mines in 2 minutes? It seems like there is not enough time!
I cannot deny this. What I’m thinking is that a broader perspective should allow for a projection of tactical behavior on a larger scale, rather than just conflicts at the squad level. Perhaps I need to adjust the balance between narrative and gameplay, but I believe that as long as some people enjoy micro-level operations, there will definitely be others who appreciate larger-scale battles.
Thank you for your great work in bringing to us this campaign of the eastern front which is often overlooked in most wargames.
