The don't care option disassociate the negatives you would normally get without it being a precept. There is no negatives nor posititves to having homosexuals without the precept.
There's no need for a don't care option.
You can apply the mod the precept won't show up unless YOU the player set it too on ideologies.
But homophobic and hetrophobic will show up in the trait pool.

What I mean is, after applying it, can I still go back? Like for cannibalism, you have both positive and negative options, and also "don't care" which just sets it to neutral

If you're aiming for like some sort of homosexual cult kinda deal.
by the sounds you could already use the in game precept to push for this "Join our gay cult" deal
adding precepts that dislike people outside of cult, etc.

Heterosexual relationships or more so the act of engaging in heterosexual sex is also more so of normal, So it isn't really an issue that needs to be challenged, To add to that you also require heterosexual sex to reproduce.

You should be able to make pawns attempt romance between two pawns of opposite genders even if one is gay in a homophobic ideology
Vice versa with hetrophobic ideologies.

With how the traits are set up the pawns are already aware.

If you are undesirable or are aromatic like myself, You will get the same "harassment" from your family. You could easily add this as a separate mod if you wish to bring family pressure into the equation

I wanted the trait and ideology to be most inline with vanilla mechanics within rimworld.

despite whatever the original authors intents or beliefs are, this can be combined with other mods to make really accurate deceptions of human desires and relationships, like the moral leader of a homophobic ideology taking a same sex lover, or a misandrist in love with a man. people are complicated and have been around a while (relatively). ♥♥♥♥ has always been weird, only difference is now we just have a higher literacy/birthrate for the first time ever and enough time to reflect as a species.

Unfortunately Flying witch Isn't lying here, for a lot of people the default understanding of the human experience includes sexual attraction to another individual, and a lot of people, especially older people don't understand how someone could not want that, concluding that something is wrong with the individual in question. Building on that asexual people are significantly less likely to have romantic attraction of any kind, which means no lover and no (biological) children. This often leaves them open to both peer pressure from others who don't understand why they don't want to have a lover and children, as well as harassment from family members (particularly parents) who want them to have children.

Additionally many religions (particularly of note being Christianity here) require that followers have children and multiply, which some followers of the faith take as a direct affront to their religion if others don't comply with. (citations in part 2)

Hi, author of Way Better Romance here! I do not remove sexuality traits, you might be thinking of Individuality. I do add some and I'm working on compatibility with this mod as we speak.

The arranged marriage precept is from Romance on the Rim, not WBR.

all jokes aside, this is perfect for roleplaying ideologies that has a stricter/more conservative views such as an inquisition or something obviously shunning same-sex relationships

Way better romance and psychology both remove trait sexuality and add it as a part of the pawn its self.

Just for reference any mod that removes sexual traits does not work with this mod.
Also what alot of these mods don't understand that do this is that the sexuality traits don't actually take a trait slot.
