This is a compatibility patch. One day when I have time again, I hope to do the Wunderwaffe enhancements as a stand alone, but thats not today unfortunately.

Glad to hear that you finally got to enjoy it. As for the sniper scope, I cannot remember exactly why, but IIRC it's also something Battlefield changes. Instead of using right click to go into scope view, use the mouse wheel scroll for different views and you should still be able to get to the scope view

Cynicus Nihilisticus Paradoxus, I finaly got to try this mod! AMAZING! FInally guns sounds like they shuld, speceally MG 42!!!! I love it! Expept for sniper scoping.. Its gone?? Tanks also sounds amazing!

One by one is usually best. Especially to troubleshoot if there is still errors. If you need an error log, instead of activating them in game, go into the editor, and then activate them one by one there, if it does crash, it will give you the error code. But as mentioned, first fix Battlefield mod as there has not been an update since October and then activate in this order: 1. The last gren -> 2. Battlefield ->3. CNP’s Compatibility Patch. Again, activate one, apply, and then activate the next one.

I can't wait to play this! I play original Last Granadier Mod but you version sounds so much better! The only thing is, I wished that Mous could apper in some erlier defensive missions. It's a real shame that Mous and Panther 2 only show up in one mission, and you get very little time to enjoy! When IS-3 show up, 88MM for some reason can't penetrait there frontal armor (it's ridiculous)!!! 88 anti tank can go all the way throught them!

Note: Currently Battlefield is causing the crash, not my mod. Thanks to @Saftmann frommm the Battlefield comment section, An easy work around is simply adding the following lines to the following file. Under the following folder :
C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\2829617084\Resource\Set\Stuff\Smg there will be a file called “.presets”. Open it with any text editor, and then add the following:

{spreading
{BurstAccuracy 100 91 82 73 65 57 51 45 40}
}
)

This can be added anywhere but I added it at Line 48. This should make battlefield work and then once that works, you should be able to activate this mod and then play again.

I did not test everything with the EDITOR, but at least the machine gun on the German side of the tank had no sound. As for the infantry, I have not tested them, but I think it is safe to assume that there is no sound. One more thing. There was no engine sound either.

Hey, ok thanks for feedback, unfortunately I'll only be able to update this after the 20th of December. In the mean time could you specify which machine gun has no sound. Is it the MG34,42 or 45 and then also is it only the one in the tank or is it the infantry one as well?

Here is a new report. I removed all other mods and tried to play with only BFMOD, LAST GRENADIERMOD and this mod, but the main gun sounded but the machine gun and engine sound did not sound!

So I tested it now on my side, it works with v1.047. If it gives errors, maybe try to unsubscribe so that it deletes the mod files and then resubscribe so that it downloads the latest files and see if it works. Let me know if it works

The unit doesn't speak, is it just me? If it's just the Last Grenadier mod, the unit will speak.

I did not edit any speech files so that is probably the way that they are in campaign I would guess.

@zero, Double check by running each mod separately, as sometimes the problem is with battlefield, however, if you have double checked that, then load them up again as such 1. The last gren -> 2. Battlefield ->3. CNP’s Compatibility Patch and then if it still crashes, send me the part of the error log where it crashes and then I can check what the problem is

Currently not working due to Battlefield making the game crash to desktop when a Tank fires. Nothing I can do on my end. I'm sure the author of Battlefield will fix it promptly.

I'm sorry to hear that. The Last thing I can suggest is running it on the Open beta version. To do that, go into Properties on Steam, select Beta and then choose the drop down menu and select the Open Beta.

If that does not work, I don’t know what else to suggest.

One last thing I can suggest. Turn the Gfx all the way down to minimum(Or at least low). Let it load into the mission you want to play and then only once it's loaded turn it back up again to your preffered setting. I think because of all the assets in Last gren and all the scripts by Battlefield, sometimes it's like it uses up all the VRAM and then just crashses, I've had that happen before.

If it still doesn't work. Do the same in the Editor, then when it crashes it should provide a Crash log (Pop up), let me know what it says

Make sure no other mods are running. Then go to mods, activate The Last Grenadier, then click apply, then go back and activate Battlefield, then click apply, then after those two are active then go back into mods, activate this mod and click on apply. Let me know if that works.

@olivermcqns Sorry,but I don't have the capacity to do that right now, Mace is a massive mod with a lot of things added and this mod already took me nearly a month to get working correctly(working with the time that I have). Perhaps I'll check it out in the Future.

This is great! I was wondering if you could possibility create a compatibility patch for MACE & Battlefield to work together like it used to? It works but a number of vehicles have missing engine sounds.
